Charlie's Bagels & Deli — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

Missed a portion of my order from Uber. Told me to COME get it. I paid Uber eat fees to have it delivered and I’m in a foot boot. Why would I pay all this if I have to get in my car and come get it? What kind of service is this ??? . And the people in the phone don’t give a crap. The problem is is when a establishment doesn’t have a delivery person and they go through Uber eats then your shit out of luck if they forget a portion of your order and this reflects poorly on the business itself.

And I really wish I saw the review of the roach in the food before I ordered bc now I had to inspect all of my food bc this grossed me the eff out. Fortunately, for me, there was no roach in my food, but how the roach got in someone else’s container on a previous order means that no one‘s really looking before they pack the stuff to allow a full roach to be in the food

Today was my very last day ordering from here. It’s close to my mom’s house which is why I’ve been ordering from them but no more. I’ve ordered from them a lot in the last three years but no way. Last time the bagels I ordered weren’t fresh and I threw them out. I didn’t put a review bc I gave them Grace.

Update. I put my boot on and grabbed my keys but the guy came back w the bagel. Smh. Im aggravated. Money is precious. If you’re going to spend delivery fees and we all know Uber charges a lot then you should get...

• The food is quite good but unfortunately I have come in here several times and been overcharged. The first couple of times I just let it slide but I'm not going to do that anymore. Watch when the owner tally's up your order. I have checked the current menu against it many times and he charges an extra $0.50 here or $0.50 there. This has happened to me more than once so because of their dishonest practices I don't think I'm going to come back here. Nice way to stick it to the customers. If you want to raise your price fine but update your menu and be honest about it.*

Since Covid & local competition "Knot Just Bagels" closed down the owner for this shop has steadily raised prices, which is somewhat understandable. However, I've also fell victim to DISHONEST PRACTICES at this location a few times and stop giving my business for at least a year. Unfortunately, I gave them a chance this morning and got overcharged again. My order was for $11 but the charge on my card was for $ 12.12.

P.S. The food is not even that good! This bagel shop is always busy & has alot business. Why the owner sees the need to cheat their non-regula...

If I could give this place a ZERO I would. I called in this morning and ordered a Turkey BLT. She ask if I wanted it as a club and I said yes but I want turkey bacon lettuce tomato and mayo. I received a club sandwich with cold cut turkey and regular bacon. I called and said i received the incorrect sandwich. The lady who answered the call said, " Ill have you speak to the owner", I explained and he said, "I will have you speak to the person who took your order". I explained my order, she insisted she gave me the correct order. I told her this is not what I wanted. She put in a order for the correct sandwich. Upon arrival, the owner began to ring it up and told me that the 3 workers confirmed my order and I need to pay for the sandwich. One person took my order and I'm sure the call was not on speaker. The owner was very nasty and be came a bit hostile. He also tried to over charge me on the original order and was very annoyed when i called him out on it. I was referred by a coworker last year and began ordering from time to time. I will be sure to let the staff here knows how discussing and rude the service here is.
