I have never been to a food establishment and been treated like this before, the staff is unprofessional, horrible customer service. I went thru the drive thru and ordered a fiesta beef taco salad, I asked them to substitute black beans for refried beans. When I got home there was no beef in the salad ( this is the second time this happened from this place), I drove back to the store and asked to talk to the manager. The boy at the register asked me what was the problem, I explained the situation and he just looked at me. I again asked to talk to the manager, he said she wasnt there, then I asked for the assistant manager. He gives the salad to a girl now they open the box and are looking at the salad. She comes over and tells me it came up on the screen substitute beef for beans , I asked her what I wanted , her answer was so you want me to add beef to the salad. I told her that I would like her to make me a new salad with what I want in it. Her answer so add beef to it. Now I'm really getting frustrated, I'm in the food business and any professional would know if food leaves the store you would never take it back to add anything. Talk about contamination and bacteria. She takes the salad and says very loudly, "alrighty now". All of a sudden a young girl comes to the counter and claims shes the manager, I told her that I was just told the manager wasnt there. I asked what was the store number, 3 employees had no clue. What a joke. I again tell the manager the story and I told her what the assistant manager said, her answer was shes not my assistant shes a shift lead, I guess her employees dont know the difference. After 15 minutes I get my salad, she sarcastically says you have a great night and laughs. This place is a joke of a restaurant. I will never go back to this place. Oh and believe me corporate will be hearing from me. If my employees acted like the people who worked at Taco Bell, they would be out of a job. This is not who I want representing my company. He was giving us attitude since we began ordering and when we went to include another item, he rushed us up and told us he got it. When we got to the window we checked to see if the extra spicy potato soft taco (value menu item) was in the bag and as expected it wasn't. We told him but he forgot to add it and instead of apologizing he told us we never told him. We definitely told him but he was too much in a bad mood to listen. Then he shut the window in our faces and had the soft taco prepared and we received it and he rang us up as he already had the card, gave us the food and we pulled away. When we checked the receipt we noticed he charged us for a completely separate, expensive item but still knew what we ordered was a value menu item. We went inside to speak to the manager who was not helpful in the situation at all and completely incapable of handling the situation. As we waited for her to sort things out, a completely uninvolved worker began looking at the receipt and getting involved in the issue and shaking her head directly at me as if I was wrong for being upset at the whole situation. The managers and the employees do nothing to help the customers and do not even care do get things right in the first place so that they aren't dealing with the angry customers! No wonder lines are always long cause the orders are always messed up and they have to fix it.
