Here ya go Michael. Your bill has been refunded and sir please believe me when I say I am once again so sorry for this to have happened. Please accept my apologies and know that I am always trying to find more employees that care. Its a very difficult thing to find but I do not give up. I just ask for patience from the customers. Trust me, I want better staffing more than anyone.
Hello,
We visited your Woodburn Location last night and had an absolutely horrid experience. We would kindly like our purchase refunded. Our order was # 2054 on 10/29 @ 6:57PM and the employee’s name was Logan. I waited for 10 minutes to be helped. Logan was moving at a snail’s pace. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger, Big Bacon Cheeseburger, 2 large fries and a root beer float milkshake. 20 minutes later, I see bags sitting on the counter and a cup of vanilla ice cream and a cup of root beer. I told Logan I did not order a root beer float; I ordered a root beer float milkshake. He said, "yeah" we don't' have that anymore". No apologies or anything. I asked for a basic chocolate shake instead. Then I noticed my wife's cheeseburger had pepperjack cheese on it. We in not point discussed pepperjack cheese. So, while my fries got ice cold, he took it back and a few minutes later came back and said "yeah, we can take the cheese off its melted to the bun". I told him he would have to make me another new burger then because we ordered a regular bacon cheeseburger, and I would not accept the cheese being scraped off anyway. Another 10 minutes passed, and they brought a new burger. This time it had NO cheese at all. I told Logan and he said "yeah, we didn’t put cheese this time because we don't know what cheese you wanted". He then gave me a piece of cold cheese in a Styrofoam container. I said so I have to go home and melt this on the burger I just paid for? No response. He then handed me a watery chocolate shake in replacement for the shake I had originally ordered. I was there for over an hour. Several people behind me left as they couldn’t stand the wait. The gentleman behind me that watched all this go on asked me "should I even place an order here???"
This was absolutely horrible service, and I was obvious that Logan did not care or take pride in his job. When I got home, I had to bake all our items just to have a warm meal. Not to mention having to spend over an hour of my Sunday evening attempting to do his job for him. I am so upset with this experience. I would like a full, immediate refund. $42 for two burgers??? This should have been an awesome experience...
Read moreI normally love this place—the burgers are excellent. I always order the big bacon cheeseburger with egg, no sides, no drink. The chefs here consistently do a great job, and I’ve been a loyal customer, visiting once a week. Even though my pickup total is only $13.50, I always tip at least $3, so I’m paying $16.50 for one burger because I believe in supporting the restaurant.
Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had here. I placed an online order for pickup, and when I arrived, a mom and son held the door for me. I walked in before them but let them order first since I was just picking up. My order was already sitting in the hot case, so it was obvious to the cashier why I was there.
While I was waiting, another family walked in well after I had arrived. Instead of handing me my order or acknowledging me, the cashier looked directly at me, then past me, greeted the new family, and began taking their order. By this point, I had already been waiting about five minutes. When I finally spoke up and said, “I’m here to pick up an order,” she rolled her eyes and waved me off with a dismissive gesture, as though I was trying to cut in line. That was not the case at all—I had been standing there well before the other family came in.
What made this worse was that it felt very clear the cashier had a strong cultural bias. I understand that Woodburn is a Hispanic community, but deliberately prioritizing a Hispanic family who walked in after me while ignoring a customer who was already waiting is unprofessional and unacceptable. Every paying customer deserves the same level of respect and service, regardless of background.
If management has any doubts, I encourage them to check the security cameras from October 2nd at 3:25 PM. The footage will show that I was there long before the second family arrived, and that the interaction unfolded exactly as I’ve described.
This was extremely disappointing because the food here is consistently five-star quality, but service like this makes loyal customers feel disrespected and undervalued. I hope management addresses this issue seriously, because I want to continue supporting this restaurant—but experiences like this make it very difficult to do so.
With burgerville moving in next door; you would think you would do whatever you needed to retain your customers. (Aka, JUST BE NICE.)...
