Got take out two times in a row, both orders messed up. When we called to speak to someone about it the restaurant was so loud she couldn’t hear us and had to put us on hold. After explaining to Allison on the phone that our order was messed up she continued to tell us we were wrong, constantly talking over us instead of letting us explain the situation. Finally my husband yelled out of frustration and swore because she refused to listen to our complaint and that’s when she hung up the phone. I called back to let them know it’s unacceptable to treat paying customers this way, Allison then told us she didn’t have to deal with this or be talked to this way. I explained to her that no paying customer should have to fight with an employee about their mistake. That we had the receipt in hand and in our emails that show they messed up the order - still we were wrong. I got frustrated with Allison and she hung up the phone. Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had and I’ve worked in restaurants for several years. Manager did absolutely nothing , told us we swore at them. Allison, I’ve been sworn at in the service industry and I’ve never treated a customer as horribly as you did.
Edit: Today I was contact by Knute (spelling?) from this Applebees, he wanted to hear our side of the story. He was deeply apologetic of our experience and wanted to make it right. We were refunded for our food and received a gift card for our troubles. Despite the refund and gift card, we just wanted to be heard, not brushed off.
Thank you, Knute. We greatly appreciate...
Read moreOrdered the car-side to go for dinner and got confirmation of order received email. I placed my order at 3:30 in the afternoon for pick up at 5 pm. No one came out to husband's car after 5-10 min so we went in. Again, sitting by the car side to go sign and register (which was not lit up) no one paid any attention to him sitting there so after another 5 min or so of all the wait staff passing him by, he asks if someone can help him. Their reply "oh, no one has helped you yet?" Obviously not if I am asking for help. Rude of no one in the store to greet him.
After he gets someone attention, he goes to tell them we have an order to pick up, which cannot seem to be found. He shows them the proof of our order, which has already been taken from bank account to be processed, but they said they didn't have an order. He then talked with a manager and several servers and somehow no one could give an answer to where our missing order went.
Another 10 min or so goes by and someone walks out with our food and sets it on the bar. No one apologized for the issue, no one tried to correct it. no one handed it to him, just dropped it on the bar and walked away. He grabbed our food and left. I don't think we will be giving this restaurant our business again. Even when we do...
Read moreI came here during dinner on a weekend. The restaurant was not too busy upon arrival. There is no reservation. It is first come first serve. I was seated right away. I ordered the appetizer combo along with side of Mac and cheese. Their appetizers were good other than their mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were cold and hard. Barely cooked. Their Mac and cheese on the side was mediocre. You can make the same recipe at home. I would not get their side Mac and cheese again. In addition, our food took over 50 minutes to bring out the side order and the appetizers. It took awhile even though there was not a lot of people dining in. Our first waiter disappeared for awhile then a new waiter came and helped our table. However, it seemed like the waiters do not communicate with one another because second waiter asked how to split the check then the first waiter came back and asked how to split the check. It was a bit confusing because our waiters kept changing in and out. I was not sure why multiple waiters kept coming to our table. Overall, Applebee’s good place for cheap promotional drinks and happy hour apps. This location is not the best restaurant to dine in due to long wait for food as well as lack communication...
