Joey C’s Pizza — Restaurant in Woodbury

This was our first time trying Joey C's, and ordering online for takeout was pretty easy!

We got a couple of thin crust pizzas, some wings, and the garlic cheese bread.

Regarding the food, we thought the garlic cheese bread was fantastic – definitely our favorite part! However, the pizzas we ordered as thin crust seemed more like a traditional crust to us. Maybe that's Joey C's version of thin, but it wasn't quite what we were expecting. The sauce and toppings were good though!

We also asked for our wings to be crispy, but they ended up being a little on the softer side. We popped them in our air fryer at home to crisp them up.

One small thing about the garlic cheese bread – the online picture showed a sauce included, but we didn't get any in our box.

On the service side, we had a really pleasant experience during the short time we were inside to pick up our order. The person at the front was super friendly!

Placed an order for 2 pizza's online on 4/28/2025. After hitting submit I noticed I selected pick up when actually needed delivery. Called immediately and the man who answered said he could not change the order, only cancel, and I could reorder over the phone for delivery. There were 2 pending charges, fine, figured one would fall off. On 5/1/2025 BOTH pending transactions were switched to posted. Called and spoke to someone who told me they did submit the refund, it just just takes a few days. I explained that usually when a purchase is cancelled while it was still pending, it usually just falls off doesn't switch to posted charges. He assured me I would be refunded. It's now 5/5/2025 and still have 2 charges to my account. I was charged $100.96 for 2 pizzas. Ended up having to call my credit card...

Joey’s pizza is the best I’m a big pizza lover and I’ve been too many places and I’ve said this is the best pizza but honestly Joey’s pizza is the best pizza hands down. They made their pizza sauce, homemade all their ingredients are fresh, and the Italian sausage is the one meat that I would recommend on a pizza when you come to Joey’s Pizza in Woodbury. 10 out of 10 Just a little sidenote, the owner did come out and chitchatted with us for a little bit. We got to know him we got to know us and because this was our first place we loved this place so much now we got free cinnamon donuts to take home, but my mind was made up before I got that treat , and that’s the truth.
