First Watch — Restaurant in Woodhaven

My husband and I loved it. Sit down. Also saw that you can do carry out, door dash. We saw a bar. They had a huge chalk board with specials on it which were in the summer menu list. There is dining space and booths. Modern farmhouse style: wood, metal, fabric chairs, wood chairs, subway tile, lightbulb lighting. Brunch style. Breakfast to lunch time only. There may be a line. It's always busy in the parking lot. We see why. Food wise: healthier options like steel cut oatmeal and multi grain french toast. Fun options like strawberry tres leches French toast and or blueberry lemon cornbread. Things we have heard of that are healthy or things you heard of with a twist. Alcoholic drinks too. Mixed juices too.

My husband ordered turkey sausage and gravy with potato and egg. My husband also had 1 of the mixed juices: watermelon kiwi lime. I ordered eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. I just had water. Our total was about $36 I think? I only saw the receipt for a few secs. My husband paid and did a top too on top of that. We think that's reasonable for 2.

We might be making this 1 of our reg spots because it's hard to find a place that has healthy options. And unique too. I especially want to go during fall and winter to see about hot cocoa or pumpkin spice options???...

Tried first watch for the first time over the weekend and left Happy!! To start our server was phenomenal!! She went above and beyond to make sure our first time wasn’t out last! She offered specials and drinks I never would have thought to order myself.. and she was right everything was great!! Especially the million dollar bacon,which she insisted was a must at first watch.. SHE WAS RIGHT!! Do yourself a favor and order it!! The atmosphere was great, everyone was friendly, the music wasn’t too loud which is a problem at a lot of places! The temperature was comfortable and the aroma of all the amazing food is wonderful!! They are a brand new place.. so I expected a little bit of a wait. Give them a couple of weeks to adapt and they will be GOLD! Do yourself a favor and give it a try!!(make sure to read the menu as some dishes come with greens,some potatoes and some fruit but you have the option to change it UPON REQUEST!) And when you get there make sure to ask for Alysha as your server!! She will go out of her way to make sure your experience is great! If the food doesn’t keep you coming back.. Alysha will!!! Everything was SO fresh & amazing!! Our server was Whitney & we highly recommend her! So was amazing! The food & coffee were fresh & picture perfect! What a welcome addition to the Woodhaven community! Well done First Watch! Well done!! 😃👍🏻👍🏻

Wanted to update our review. We came here today & had Alex as our server. What a nice young man! He let me sample the chia pudding before ordering it because I wasn’t sure I would like it. It was AMAZING!! A must try!! Also we have tried the power wrap & the rustic frittata. Big thumbs up for both of these!! You seriously cannot go wrong with anything that you order here!!

UPDATE #2: Shared a couple more photos to show you one of the yummy choices on the seasonal fall menu. It’s the pumpkin pancakes with scrambled eggs & turkey sausage. Delish!!! They also offer pumpkin creamer for your coffee which is heavenly! I also shared some photos of the beautiful smiling faces that will greet you & set the tone for the most amazing day!
