IHOP — Restaurant in Woodhaven

EVERYTHING WAS COLD, EVEN THE SERVER JILL. No type of Friendliness no regret, no care. Fist, I was unsure of what I wanted. USUALLY a SERVER will promote something. Her. Just stands there like Duhhh... I said can you just put in our Appetizer why decide what I would like, she literally goes to the Machine puts in The App.comes back like 30 seconds later, so what do you want?? Like... Idk. I am unsure. So She just stands there. I guess ill have this breakfast with The Square Potatoes Not The Hasbrowns Om eggs and 2 bacon 2 sausage. She Said,HOW YOU WANT THEM EGGS? Hmm... Over Medium Please. And what Kinda meat? Again I say, sausage & Bacon. With the Square Potatoes. Not Hashbrowns.. She said ok.

20 mins later Our food comes. EVERYTHING COLD on My Plate. You ever eat a Cold Runny eggs?? Freaking nasty. Sausage Cold and Hard. Bacon cold. Biscuit & gravy Cold. My kid got Ckn strips and Fries. The chicken Warm. Fries, Cold. My Hubby got Chicken & waffles.. Ckn Hot. waffles cold. Butter will not even melt. I wait about 8 minutes for her to come back. To tell her. My Whole plate id cold. JILL SAYS, " You have to give me a While, Were busy. And so are my cooks. Im like, well. Im good then. We already waited long enough for Cold food. I told her these waffles are like ice she says. What you don't want them either. I said. Um not really. But he does. Cab you just throw it on the grill.. She said Idk. And grabs the plate. (Rudely). I seen our food sitting in the window for a while. But. Said maybe they have another order like that. Guess. Not. I asked to speak to the manager,Jill says. Probably not he is Really busy. Ill take this off your bill. So 10 mins later the bill The waffle (Which was Thrown in the microwave) all shriveled up now) Said we just wanted the chicken. But at that time I had enough. I go to cash out. After She seen my card ready and she goes to the other table gets their bills to cash out. I was like wow. So stand up front for like 5 mins with bunch of other people waiting to be seated.. It was a hot mess. And paid $52 for some Garbage. And rude service. I was a server for 20 years. Never would I have left a Customer leave Unhappy. Or would I have treated a customer like that. I see the reviews. I guess I should have checked them before going. But really wanted breakfast food. And them square potatoes... Never again. But. Seth thanks for the Hot Chicken Strips tho. My kid was good. Definitely will follow up with the Owner Tomorrow. Only a 1 star because you have to to make the review... An I did still Tip. 15% but she didn't deserve anything... I jus know the Server life. She is not a Good one. Change your job. Cause...

Asked how the $5 all you can eat pancakes work vs all you can eat pancakes free with a meal. She explained that those were exactly the choices. I ordered the bacon jam Benedict and was told they don't make that there. I said I would put in for the pancakes, so we didn't have to wait for me to keep looking at the menu to decide on another meal they did have to get free pancakes with. I flagged down my waitress to tell her my meal choices before anything came out. I chose the 2 egg breakfast combo. Once the meal came, my grilled English muffin came out 3 times without any color or butter, and even the waitress had asked, "Did you want color and butter on that?" I think they were setting a dry muffin on the grill and just drying it out. Finally, I just ate it because my eggs (which were cooked to perfection) were getting cold. When the bill came, I noticed I was charged for all you can eat pancakes in addition to my meal. Waitress said because I ordered the pancakes before finding a meal they had available, but said she has to have the manager take that off. I waited 5 minutes before he came to the table to tell me my combo didn't include pancakes. I explained that all you can eat pancakes are free my meal, and only $5 when just pancakes are ordered. He said because my meal came with toast, and the pancake stack was 5 rather than 2, I had to pay for them. I didn't order 5, I ordered all you can eat with the meal. He made me wait another 10 minutes while I watched him, perk from the back, see me, and walk back before the 3rd time I went back and asked a waitress for him and was told they'd "have to find him." I looked in the lobby at the promotion because he told me it was stated that if it came with toast, I couldn't add pancakes. I took the menu to the sign in the lobby to call corporate while waiting for him. He came back to ask for my receipt to show me i got toast (still unsure what toast included in a meal had to do with the promotion. The woman I was showing with, heard the way this manager spoke to me, and asked me for his name. When I asked him, he ignored me the first time, then said Jon the 2nd, but he shine sarcastic like he was lying about that being his name. He reiterated because I got toast and no pancakes. He reprinted my receipt and walked away, after ANOTHER 5-10 min, I found him to ask what he was doing about this and why I'm waiting so long and he keeps hiding, for him to tell me, "you called corporate, now there's nothing I can do, I'm going to get letters in the mail, you can leave since you wanted to call them, they'll take care of it,...

Hello All, Michael here!!! Parking Complaints; I would like to address this because there is a misunderstanding with folks. A lot of transport drivers are confused why they can't stop and rest in the parking lot being it's a truck stop. Please let me clear this up; It's not a truck stop. That is the parking lot for the restaurant. It is used for "customer parking only" and has a two hour limit for those who do visit. The parking for the truck stop is next door at the Pilot in which they charge for I do believe. The problem is, when the restaurant opens in the morning the parking lot is absolutely filled with tired drivers camping out and resting. This leaves no parking availability for guests who actually want to come and eat.

Everyone wanted to come and camp out in your parking lot!!! LoL... Then the people that do want to come eat have no where park. Then the campers get angry and perhaps hostile when asked to leave as if they're not trespassing private property. Oh, and they act like they have the right to be there too. I ask you. Would that be frustrating 🚛 🫨😮‍💨❓❓❓

Now don't get me wrong here, I appreciate all transport drivers. Rest Stops on the Freeway are free. Some Walmarts also offer free parking to drivers. I understand the parking struggles for drivers are tough. I'm indeed sorry this restaurant is unable to accommodate those tired drivers. However it's IHOP the restaurant not Camp IHOP. We just need to clear up on who the parking lot actually belongs to. One thinking the restaurant is apart of the truck stop is totally understandable being they're connected. It's an honest mistake. I understand that.

The Federal Highway Act of 1956 states drivers should have a place to stop, use the restroom and stretch legs every 30 minutes of driving. I hope this helps.
