Jackson House Restaurant is truly a standout! Every detail — from the curated farm-to-table menu to the warm, welcoming atmosphere — makes it an unforgettable experience. The food is simply outstanding. Some of my personal favorites are the sausage roll, duck, lamb chops, and the incredible tamper bread. Every dish is beautifully prepared and full of flavor. And don’t miss the lemon tart.
Their hand-crafted cocktails are just as impressive. You can taste the care and creativity in every sip. The staff are so personable and make you feel like family from the moment you walk in. The ambience is both relaxing and elegant, and the moss artwork adds such a unique and calming touch to the space.

The food is fresh, locally-sourced, creative and full of delicious flavor combinations. The decor is elegant, warm and welcoming, with a cool music vibe as an added bonus. Try the cauliflower, the sausage rolls, the squash, the lamb rib chops, the duck…it’s ALL GOOD! The cocktail menu is adventurous and innovative without being overwhelming—not to mention the drinks all look beautiful and taste amazing. Try the Espresso Martini and Steep Dreams tequila cocktail—yum! Don’t miss an opportunity to spend a few hours here, and make it a regular haunt....

For dinner, I had the sausage roll -- the veal was delicious, the pastry buttery and flaky as it should be, and the sauce gave it a subtle kick -- and the blistered tomatoes, which were hearty, meaty and very low on the acidic side of things, the squash just as tender. My only complaint is that I had an appointment to keep, so I'll have to come back to try their desserts...
