There's a new vegan game in town, they just opened about a month ago and go by the name of .... Three Cats Coffee, based in Woodinville.
Their cafe, 100% vegan (!!!), sits at the tail end of a mini-grocery store to which there is a parking garage across the street offering free parking! It's a cute little space that was very easy to access. We visited early afternoon on Saturday and were greeted by the lovely Shannon, who was working super hard at keeping everything running smoothly! It was a pleasure chatting with her and learning how the business first opened only a month ago, as much as it was exciting to hear about potential options for the future.
I couldn't wait to try the Reese's Latte and, my wife opted for the Orange Mocha. Both drinks were incredibly smooth and tasty. For each, you could pick up more than a good hint of the included flavors, whether that was orange or reese's, respectively, without either flavor at the same time overwhelming the coffees, an absolutely smooth and perfect balance!
For amazing eats, we opted for two pastries and one sandwich, the Portugese Custard Tart, the Pain au Chocolate, and the Bacon Sandwich, the sandwich being sourced directly from Cafe Red, an amazing 100% vegan coffee place located on the south end of Seattle on MLK Jr Way S. Each item was phenomenal, the tart with it's creamy center, the chocolat with it's flaky crust, and the bacon sandwich with it's smokey bacon-y melty cheeziness delightfully sinful goodness 😈.
I'm super excited for this Three Cats, excited to have them in the greater Seattle area, excited to go back and try their other items and, excited for any future possibilities as well. Trust me, you want to make the time to head out to Woodinville to say hello, try one of their amazing coffees and wolf down a pastry or two or an amount of undisclosed...
Read moreThis place was almost too good to be true to me. I thought maybe it was vegetarian, but no!! Everything is all vegan! So I was a little overwhelmed with what to try for coffee as I normally get the same thing everyday and am used to it, trying something different is hard for me. I ordered the cold foam latte with coconut and at first the drink was too bitter for me, I think the barista could tell and she reached out and offered to add more coconut for me. I really appreciated her noticing that small detail even after the transaction was complete, most other coffee shops dont care and will get mad at trying to fix a drink. The drink being bitter was on me, as cold brew in my experience does tend to be bitter and strong so the fact the barista fixed my own mistake with grace meant a ton. When ordering the food, I am allergic to nuts and vegan. Nuts tend to be served with a lot of products in vegan establishments and everything had clear labels. Even though the labels are clear, sometimes I need to ask if things are vegan, or if they have nuts multiple times. Sometimes people get annoyed at this , but again, the barista took all my repetitive questions with grace and made me and my husband a delicious meal. I 💯 recommend this place to anyone who feels shy ordering , had dietary restrictions and anyone who is vegan and picky with their...
Read moreSuch an amazing vegan spot to have on the eastside! The chocolate croissant, breakfast sandwich, burrito, hot chocolate, and coffee we got were all delicious. They even have non-dairy whipped cream for the drinks, and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. There were several other things in the pastry case I’m looking forward to trying!
Service was wonderful, they were very helpful and kind.
Parking was easy, there is a small garage very close by. The actual cafe is bit hard to see when driving by as it is inside of the little bodega, so keep an eye out for the sign. Wish there was slightly...
