Very disappointed! I don't know who mentioned big portions, but for anyone else doing take out, just know that you will be paying A LOT of money for very little. I spent almost $20 for their Panang curry and what I got was smaller than a bowl of soup. (See photo!) I usually go to Thai on Main in Monroe because not only do they have amazing curry, but their portions are easily twice the size of this place for less. Unfortunately, on this day I had to rush home and figured I would try a new place on my way home to see their quality. When I brought it home, I felt ripped off. For the same price, you could have Carne Asada with Rice, Beans, Chips and Salsa or a big Burger and Fries across the street and be much more satisfied. But that's just me. Good luck!

Picked this place randomly for lunch takeout. Food is of an average taste, portions are big. Overall I think it should cost less for this level of quality. Fresh rolls are good, but added shrimp look weird. Pad Thai is ok, with a bit of ketchup taste. Panang curry was over spiced, curry pasta and tofu were of average quality. It feels like pasta and tofu all were pre cooked separately and then mixed, I wish they added more flavours to tofu. Side rice was super blend, only after mixed with curry it more or less eatable. Chicken satay was ok - dry, and no sides, literally it's just meat on the stick and nothing else. I met a lot of places in that area with better quality/ price for Thai food.

Came here at 8.38pm thinking to grab a quick bite before a movie starting at 9.30pm, but was told last table seating at 8.40pm. When I mentioned it wasn't 8.40 yet, the Caucasian worker said "it's a technicality"... So what's the actual cut off? I respect the restaurants rules, and wouldn't mind if last seating was at 8.30pm, but it just seemed like the server didn't want to work. Especially given the restaurant closes at 930pm apparently. Plans got messed up and had to go elsewhere. Shame because I've been here before, their pad see ew and fried rice is well done.

The food was absolutely great! I wish the same could be said aboiut the service. Our table of 5 were sat and served waters and menus. We requested hot tea at the same time. We had to ask for our tea after again after 5 minutes went by. We then were given 3 cups for tea and asked for one more, which took nearly half the time we were there to get. We ordered food and appetizers, the appetizers were quick to get to the table, which was fantastic, however we had yet to receive an offer for water refills and we had been there for nearly 30 minutes st that point.

Now, 30 more minutes have passed and we were still without a refill on tea. The restaurant had gotten a couple more tables of 2 and 3 people here and there and you could tell that they had staff that were called in to assist, on a Saturday evening around dinner time. So not really sure if they're use to not having customers at that time or not bit we noticed that others who were sat 30 minutes after us had starred getting their food and checks. I went to the front and inquired about our meals. They said they would check on it. 5 more minutes passes and we were served 2 bowls of white rice with the words "it's coming right up" which probably means that someone forgot to put in our meals between receiving more customers and staffing the restaurant.

Another 10 minutes passes and one meal comes, then another minute and another meal comes, then a couple more minutes pass and the other meals come.

Like I said the food was great but even then it still wasn't to our order. They did compensate the bill with a 20% discount, which was nice and we didn't request it. But still just doesn't make up for the over promise and under delivery of service.

Idk can't say I'll go back but I also can't say that the food wasn't good enough...

Review Appetizer: I'd like to give the kitchen a 3/5 stars. Good food, but a little expensive. I'd give another star if they turned down the fryer oil a few notches, because our apps were almost burnt crispy on the outside and not quite cooked on the inside. (hint: higher fryer temp doesn't make frying faster)

Review Main Course: I'd like to give the management zero stars. Our waiter was polite while seating us, but was literally sent away after taking our order to go drive a delivery order, and nobody came to say they were covering for him. We were forgotten about and didn't get our drinks. Eventually, our food came out of the kitchen and someone remembered that there was a table with people, and a kid in plain clothes (another delivery driver, but not waiter?) started delivering food, and had to be told about our drinks. Once we got our food, we were forgotten about again. All this time, the lobby was full of delivery drivers and customers waiting for to-go orders... there were so many to-go orders that the manager was running around constantly apologizing for every order. This is simply poor control of online/phone ordering. Many restaurants simply feel it's fine to just take an unlimited number of online orders and don't throttle them to the point of being overwhelmed, and this is completely what we got to witness while dining in. On top of all this, we got to listen to the manager and the kid argue from behind the kitchen partition while swearing. It looks like a wood-covered wall, but is REALLY thin. So yeah, we heard eeeeverything you said.

The food alone isn't enough to overcome the environment, so we...

My experience can be summed up by one word- "disappointment." Here are 3 reasons to support the rating.

  1. I ordered the pad Thai with chicken, which was warm but mostly bland in flavor and did not contain much chicken compared to the same dish in other local establishments.
  2. the cost of the pad Thai was $16 (before fees/taxes), which is more than other local restaurants charge (e.g., Siam Kitchen - $12.35).
  3. employees that are unskilled and unfit for the position in customer service, or one of them at least. The young man who charged me for the food wore nothing to identify himself as an employee and when asked why I was being charged for a bag when I did not receive a bag, he tried argue with me and imply that I was a liar, that they were not charging me for it. I went on to explain that I saw the charge for the bag when I ordered my food online in the breakdown of the bill (and was still charging me that same amount), but he didn't let me finish, and with an annoyed, smart aleck attitude, he took the 8 cents off of the bill, handed me the receipt and walked away. You guys do get a star for having the food be at a good temperature, and ready quickly, but my recommendations for more success with your business is to try to match other competitors' lower prices, work on developing a delicious flavor for your pad Thai, and train your employees in customer service basics and maybe have them wear a uniform to help discern them and also to give them a sense that they are part of a local business that provides a service to the community and that they are working, not just casually hanging out, taking peoples hard...
