Dough Zone got this down to a science. It's rare to see opening day so smooth, without operational or technical hiccups. I don't even think they did a soft opening. We arrived at 6:30 with a nearly packed house but seated immediately. Water and menu were immediate and we got our traditional items ordered in record time.

Inside, the decor is contemporary and casual. Seating is reasonably spaced and generally geared towards tables of 4. Large groups may wait a while. There's always takeout and it's super easy to do from the front kiosks. Probably not the best idea for soup dumplings that best eaten hot.

Taste and quality is in line with other Dough Zones. I consider them a step below DTF but much more accessible due to better locations. The standard XLB are $1.50 each, same as DTF. The one with crab mean is the same price and much cheaper than DTF. Compare to DTF, I think the skin is thicker and they definitely aren't presented as well (see sad photo lol). Their other menu items are better value. Highly recommend the spicy beef pancake roll. Honestly they should just make it a burrito and compete with Chipotle.

Come into the experience with the right expectations and this is an incredible addition to the...

We went in excited, at least, my husband and I did. Our 14 yr old was skeptical and made it known. But after the first round (yup, you read that right) of scallion pancakes and fried wontons with spicy garlic sauce, we have a convert who is willing to go back anytime. 😀 We had pan-fried wontons and dumplings, dan dan noodles, scallion pancakes, and sweet/spicy cucumber. Everything was great! Cucumber was crisp and fresh with a nice tangy sauce. The scallion pancakes were hot and crispy (and quickly devoured by aforementioned teen), while the wontons and dumplings had the perfect blend of fried bottoms with steamed tops. Dan Dan noodles were great as well. We ordered anothe round of scallion pancakes, dan dan noodles, fried wontons with spicy garlic sauce and beef fried dumplings - my mouth is watering as I type this. All the food came our relatively at the same time, so we got to mix and match. We would love the option to pick a sauce on the side for some of the other menu items, but we could have overlooked it on the menu too. Overall we had a great time and...

We arrived at 5pm on a Thursday night and only waited a few minutes for a table. We filled out our order sheet and someone grabbed it without confirming our order. We waited only a few minutes for the Hot and Sour Glass Noodles to come out, which were delicious but a little chewy. The soup dumplings came out next, about 15 minutes later, overdone with very little soup in them. The Pork and Shrimp pan fried potstickers came out about 15 more minutes later, but tasted excellent. We were expecting two more servings of beef potstickers but they never came. It took another 15 minutes for someone to come ask us if we were waiting for anything else or if we wanted to order anymore. We explained we had ordered 2 beef potstickers but now didn't want them since we had been in the restaurant for an hour already and didn't want to wait another 15 minutes...

Rly yummy food and great employees, messed up our order and corrected it quickly and with humility. Their jasmine tea was great too!! Stayed an hour after finishing our food because it’s so much tea. We’re actually still here and fear we may never leave as the tea doesn’t end. I lost count to how many cups my partner and I drank and we thought it was funny after the first dozen but it keeps feeling both our cups to the brim. Not sure if they are refilling the pot through a tube under the table. The tea was only $5.50 and we thought it was a great deal. As our reality sets in that we’re stuck in this limbo we appreciate the light upbeat jazz to keep our spirits up. Great atmosphere 👍

This was my first time at a dough zone and it was pretty good. The servers were very kind and helpful. The cucumber salad was super tasty with the sweet/tangy/spicy sauce and the presentation was very appealing. The fried bao buns were my favorite. There was a lot of flavor and the crunch on the bottom was a nice texture. The soup dumplings were good and so were the shrimp and zucchini, however there wasn’t much flavor in either. They were much better when dipped in the ginger, soy and chili sauce. Overall, I felt like it was a pretty good value for the price
