Continuing the hunt for the best all the way dogs in NJ, we stopped off at Jersey Johnny’s in Little Falls. I grabbed an all the way dog and Jimmy D Burger, Samantha got a dog with mustard, and we split some cheese fries. The people who helped us at the counter were very friendly and the place looked clean all around. The all the way dog was quite good. This was a “ripper” or a deep fried Thumann’s dog with a tasty chili. I didn’t get too much cinnamon or nutmeg from this and I also didn’t get too much of a tomato flavor. Both of those things made me happy. The rolls are from Rockland bakery so they’re fresh daily. I was very happy with this purchase. The Jimmy D burger was a cheeseburger with fried egg and Jersey Meat (I refuse to argue the name pork roll vs. Taylor ham). The burger itself was a standard frozen patty but the egg was cooked and seasoned well and the Jersey Meat had a nice char to it. I ended up adding ketchup by the end but I was perfectly happy with the first few bites being without condiments. The cheese fries were also tasty. Crisp fries with a pretty standard cheese sauce. All around I’d have to say that Jersey Johnny’s - Didn’t Suck! There have been several very good hot dog venues and grills in this vicinity over the years (Sunrise immediately comes to mind from about a decade ago, with their now torn down building just a couple hundred feet from where J J is now), and Jersey Johnny's is the latest in superlative hot dog places in Woodland Park. Their menu is one of those that begs to take time to examine because there are so many great choices. Literally, you can't go wrong with any choice you make. Their All The Way sauce is a very nice touch with a kick to it. Another nice touch that wins me over is the presence of RC Cola as part of the fountain soda options. Prices are quite reasonable as well, and the service staff is very pleasant and engaging. During the summer, it's not an unusual sight to observe customers enjoying their meals on the outside tables in back. All told, it's one enjoyable stop for a meal.

Husband and I pass this place all the time. We finally decided to stop and try it out because the reviews look great. We didn't like what we ordered. And for the prices they're charging for them I expected more flavor... I ordered some sort of dog with jalapeño slices, bacon and cheese on it.. hot dogs are ball park size and nothing to rave about.. plus there were fruit flies in there trying to get a bite of our food as we ate. Lol employees were nice and food came out VERY quick but ingredients tasted as if they were sitting all day and not fresh... I wouldn't go back

Rarely do i find it necessary to offer a complaint or criticism. Sadly this is one of those times. Service was inadequate and met with a poor attitude. Order was completed incorrectly. Unfortunately it was a take out order and I was unaware until i reached home. Called to advise that the ordervwas wrong and was immediatly placed on hold. After 10 minutes on hold i drive over with the incorrectly processed order. Upon entering the store I could here my call had still not been picked up. The same server was shown the incorrect order and her response was, " it's not my problem, I don't make the orders and we're busy". I left the order, was never offered a refund or the option of redoing the order. Asked for owner or manager was told his name is Anthony and he's not there. Attempted to locate same at his other stores, met with a similar response. I have concluded that this establishment and all Jerzy Johnnys and the others owned, Linwood Pizzerias will no longer receive my business. All could have been avoided had the employee acted in a...

I went into this place about 10 minutes before closing. I understand they want to go home but with this pandemic, nobody should be turning down a $50 order. Funny thing is, they guy took my order, I paid, I tossed him $5 for good faith and shortly after the cook / Manager came out and said sorry we are closed. While they were not closed, it was close to that time, people had food waiting and this place can turn down service? I hope they survive all this truly. Maybe it was a bad day but I wouldn't know. Part 2, came back today because I still was craving. Onion Rings, Corn Nuggets and Dog all the way.... nailed it. While food was good, still not happy with closings encounter. Adding a star. Hey Anthony, I just saw your reply and I appreciate your gesture and I went back today. While the food is not the issue, it was really just that one night. All is well, I will be back and hopefully it's...
