Honestly I wanted to love this place but it was a lack luster experience for me. Spent $100 on a rib strip and fry basket, chicken and shrimp mishkaki, a juicy lucy, and 3 varieties of wings. The meat on the rib strips was tender but super chewy and inedible. They put the sauce on the fries instead of the meat so the fries are mushy and though the meat is tender it still manages to be dry, chewy, and under flavored and I literally couldnt eat it. The chicken and shrimp mishkaki was also underwhelming, the chicken was OK but the shrimp was overcooked and tasted of rubber and the rice underneath it wasnt done and was still kind of hard. I also could not consume this. The spicy wings and Buffalo wings are basically the same and had I knew this I wouldn't have ordered the other one but the garlic wings were gross. Surprisingly the juicy Lucy was delicious but I bit into an area that was pink and undercooked which did explain why it was so tender though. I was starving so I ate it anyway. This review was left the following day and so were these photos. As you can see I still haven't been able to consume this meal. I picked over everything and contemplated calling the restaurant to see if I brought it back to them if they would refund me but I didn't want to make a scene. They also forgot my fries and soda but at this rate I don't even know if I want to go back. If I did it would be for the burger but that's it. I totally wasted my money trying this place out. I tried to wait and see if I could stomach it the next day because I didn't want to throw away $100 but I can't do it. In the trash it goes.

Place is very small. After placing my order, I realized the cashier shorted me $5. I had to explain I gave you this, so you should have given me this,to both people behind the counter. My daughter ordered the brisket quesadilla, which she really enjoyed and the Mac & cheese. I tasted her Mac & cheese and it was good. The problem I had, playing it safe, was with the plain fried chicken wings. I got them because I like home style wings. I have attached a pic of the menu wings, which looked like home style wings, to compare to what I was served. The lady sitting at the table next to us, let us taste one of her garlic tenders. The tender was good. I could not even eat the wings I was given. I tried to give them a go but they had no flavor besides looking close to burnt. I asked the lady behind the counter if I had ordered the wrong wings. She advised no, it's just a difference in color. Not true. I asked for a to go container for my daughter but advised I didn't need one as I was not taking the wings with me. She later came to my table and gave me 3 options to replace my wings, 3 different quesadillas were the options. I asked about the garlic tenders and she advised they were like the same wings I wasn't eating. Not true tenders and bone in wings are not the same. I didn't want to go back and forth with her so I ordered the chicken quesadilla, which I gave to my husband when I got home. I appreciated her offering to replace it but the tone of it all, was not very positive to me.

Impeccable tastes fostered by a foundation of juicy and well cooked meats with delectable flavor make this halal restaurant chain originally from New York a staple for the DMV area A change from the typical Arab or Indian subcontinent type food found in the area has deemed this restaurant the new halal spot to visit with both family and friends, given its vicinity to both ISB and UMBC. A diverse menu founded on diverse connections between Arab, Indian, Pakistani, and East African cuisine come together to create infinite possibilities and combinations which satisfy any palette, regardless of a cautious taste spectrum With all that being said, there are a few caveats to this otherwise flawless image. One, the price: For three entrees and a side, the $92 price tag was a steep one and it can turn away potential customers from an otherwise non affluent setting. Other than the price however, this restaurant created an impressive first impressions from the spicy wings to the medium rare strip steak which are typically not found in this area, especially being certified Zabiha Halal. Final score? 9.25/10

Whoever & wherever you saw this restaurant being advertised was PAID & FAKE! I cannot begin to express the anger & patience I was tested with today. Me & my friend were fasting & went here for iftar, we had initially called asking for dine in for 2 and the front girl Sonya had told us “I dont know, come see for yourself” okay cool, must be busy so we checked it out for ourselves and turns out there was seating, we just had to help ourselves. They did not even bother to clean the table with food leftover from the previous customer, we cleaned it ourselves. Cool, its iftar time we are fasting so we go ahead & order. The girl Sonya’s attitude towards us was absolutely disgusting with her rolling her eyes, constantly cutting our ordering time with chitchatting with her coworkers & using her phone giggling in between. The worst part was the man in the back egged her on & were so so rude. Cool maybe the foods good? Great we order 6:20 get our food 8 pm which is past iftar 😄 and it was packed like it was to go when we clearly asked for dine in. Maybe the foods hot? Nope! Absolutely cold & undercooked. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich & it was the driest thing I’ve eaten. The masala bbq ribs strip & fries was not even meat, just the fatty oily part with bbq sauce on top. The 4 items we got for $70+ when everything was cold, tasteless & bad quality is not worth it! I do not recommend at all. Go here if you wanna feel disrespected & get sick with how badly the...
