This new cute little shop is an instant favorite of mine. While riding in my friend's car I saw it and said, "Oooh! A Banh Mi place! I can't wait to try it!" Little did I know they had only be open a month. So today I did try it and it was delicious! I ordered both a shredded pork banh mi and a red pork banh mi along with a tropical peach tea with dried salt plum. A little extra sauce was free too! I ate half of each sandwich and was so pleased (especially to have another half of each for the next day)! They bake their own bread on the premises and you can tell what a difference it makes. The prices were very reasonable too! The staff was courteous and friendly and it was nice and clean. I can't wait to try the other sandwiches. Before this, I had to go to the MGM casino in the National Harbor for a banh mi and it was $20! Not only did I get a banh mi place to go to, it is near me! Try it out! If you like banh mi or haven't had one but like Vietnamese food, you will be happy too! They have veggie sandwiches too with veggie sauces.
