So this location has some learning to do, in a HUGE WAY. I get you get busy, I get the kitchen gets busy but for you to be soooo busy that you REFUSE to seat any parties for at least an hour is absolutely INSANE! When you suggest that they seat people, and at least get them drinks at the very least, and the manager says we have no one to get people drinks…mind you 3 girls are standing at the host station doing almost NOTHING but chatting amongst themselves and then you pull the entire crew out of the back to sing Happy Birthday - was even more wild. I witnessed at least 10 parties walk out, many were already on the wait list - Longhorns next door had a 15 minute wait and gladly obliged to take EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF BUSINESS THIS MANAGER GAVE AWAY. Word for the management staff, take 2 of the hostess to seat 10 parties, get them drinks, comp chips and salsa because you already do, that gets customers engaged, thinking about the menu, gets them to think about alcohol, this will allow your kitchen to catch up. More people will understand even more that you tried to do something. To seat your neighbor that’s there before the group of 4 that had been there over an hour was even more a slap in the face. Not one time did the manager come out to address anything, many people had to pull the manager and question her before we could get a basic answer that was worthless in itself. Once we were seated there was not a 5 second back log. Turn off online ordering, stop taking phone orders and don’t lose out on the in person alcohol sales. What is sad is you would have received at least 2 rounds of alcohol orders from my table, so 8 alcoholic drinks and because of the actions you got 1, so you missed out on at least $50 in Alcohol and you took $10 to $15 out of your servers pockets because of your lack of managerial skills. Do better and understand how to properly run a restaurant. I love chilis - hell I came back the next day just to buy a crap load of salsa - FIGURE...
Read moreWe ate at Chili's on 3/13/17. My husband ordered a burger. The pictures on the menu showed a large juicy burger. When they brought his food we were amazed of how small it was. It looked like a child burger. I ordered Caribbean chicken salad there was too much dressing and no Mandarin oranges because they were out of Manderin oranges . They knew they were out of mandarin oranges at the time I ordered the salad because my granddaughter had ordered them as a side item. The waitress came out and told my granddaughter they didn't have Manderin oranges but didn't offer me another option. I didn't even notice until I receive my salad and it was not edible. They still charge just for the Mandren oranges even though they were never brought to the table. My granddaughter had ordered a corndog and decided she really wanted A grilled cheese. My daughter asked the waitress if it was too late to change her mind. The waitress said she was going to check with the manager. The manager said it would be fine however we were still charged for two kids meals. When the grilled cheese came out it was so disgusting I would not have fed it to my dog. Service was terrible the food was even worse. Very sad excuse for a corporate restaurant or a restaurant period. We wanted to complain on everything however our waitress never came by to ask us how everything was. Never even brought us a check or cleared the table of our place. We sat there for over 15 minutes waiting on a check or someone to clean our table or anything when my daughter realized that we were supposed to pay at the table with the kiosk. What makes this even worse they were not even busy. It was a Thursday evening. I hardly leave negative reviews because I understand the impact that it can make on the restaurant. We use to own restaurants ourselves. I even waited over a week to write the review but I feel like other people should know before they make the mistake of dining at...
Read moreOn 02/24/2023 I don't know who the man is, he's African American, but when I went, I was with my parents, I had my two children (daughter was 2, son was 1, both in high chairs). My son knocked over my glass of water and it spilled everywhere. This young African American man wasn't even our waiter, but he came over to our table and asked if we were all okay and got a roll of paper towels and started cleaning all the water up. I apologized multiple times because I felt terrible. I should've known better to keep my glass away from my son's reach. But this young man was so sweet and understanding and said that things like that happen and it was no big deal and he engaged in some chit chat with us, and made sure I got another glass of water. I assumed it was a manager, but he was also waiting tables so I'm not sure. They might have been short staffed and a manager was helping out by also waiting tables. I've been in customer service before and that young man is the definition of customer service. If he isn't a manager, he deserves to be. He puts customers first, whether it's his table or not. He is the sweetest person I've ever met and truly cares about the public. I know it's their job to take care of customers but we weren't his table and he could've looked the other way, people like him are hard to come by... Especially in management. He's the man who can make your business thrive with his attitude and approach to customers. Our waitress wasn't around when this incident occurred so she's not to blame. But this young man was there... He's charismatic, he's good with people, and also good with unexpected accidents. I'd like to personally recommend him for a raise and for a management position if he's not already there. It doesn't matter how new he is, his response shows...
