Went for dinner at 6:45pm on Tuesday evening, walked in, and was about to order when we were told, after standing there looking at the menu for a few minutes, that the kitchen was closed. We looked for hours posted or a closed sign when we said there should be hours posted (on the website it states their open until 1am). A blonde female employee followed us out with an attitude asking what we said and we repeated stating there should be hours posted or she should have told us as soon as we walked in instead of letting us stand their like idiots. She yelled at us saying "I'm just an employee, we can't post hours, and don't take it out on us. " A simple sign on the register stating kitchen closed or even a simple greeting as soon as we walked in stating "hi, we're sorry the kitchen is closed" would have been a lot nicer than the interaction we had. I used to recommend your store but for $14 for a Ruben I can go anywhere to get it. Not to mention it would come with chips or fries at any other location for no additional charge unlike your place. You just lost a few customers. Work on your...
Read moreTried this place for lunch after being recommended by a few people and was terribly disappointed. I came in open minded, but not expecting Katz Deli, but place should have been better. I had the tom and Jerry and the meat was cold/lukewarm and the rye bread was not even litely toasted like it should have been. My kid had a grilled cheese and the cheese wasn't even melted all the way. My wife's Patsrami sandwich was a bit better as at least meat was hot like it should be. Location was not easy to get to and was next to a laundromat which was odd. The inside was very bare and only had a few seats and seemed like cared more about making money off the slot/gambling area than the food. Will not be back and if want good Pastrami or Corned beef sandwich go to Max's Deli in Highland Park which is true jewish Deli food.

Read moreI REALLY wanted to love this place! My family loves corned beef but a real genuine corned beef not deli meat and that’s what we got. I was disappointed because they were willing to help me for my father’s 60th birthday and get a catering order ready the next day but the order unfortunately was wrong. All my sandwiches had Swiss on them and we have people in the family who just don’t eat it or are lactose intolerant. Again, I really wanted to enjoy this place, but for a corned beef sandwich shop it is very basic or should I just say it is deli corned beef that’s all. If you guys actually sell your catering sandwiches like this, I would hope it’s to go the cheaper route. You cannot be a corned beef shop and sell deli meat that’s just not right and we spend $100. I hope this changes soon for the sake or...
