If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I was in Door County on vacation with my family, and it was our 2nd 'beach day' on Lake Michigan. I got so amped up to get in the water with my grandkids, I forgot I had my phone in the pocket of my swim trunks. It wasn't until five minutes later that I realized my 'oops'. I got it dried up best I could, and it seemed to be working OK. Upon returning back to our rental house, I noticed it needed a charge. When I plugged it in, I got a waring to unplug immediately due to water in the charging port. I then used a hair dryer on low setting, and carefully dried the port out. After about 20 minutes, I tried charging again, and things seemed fine. It was charging, and I was able to access/use various apps, etc. I then started noticing some things that were 'off', such as the phone phone wouldn't take biometrics e.g. fingerprint sign-in, and wouldn't connect to the T-Mobile network. then over the course of the next day, the display started to become intermittent, then eventually would not come up. However, the phone did still show 'signs of life' e.g. I could hear audio alerts of messages/phone calls coming through (while connected to the rental home's wi-fi, since no network access). Upon our return home, I went to the Woodstock T-Mobile store to see what they could do. They weren't able to 'resuscitate' the phone, so they initiated a claim through my insurance, and I received a replacement phone the next afternoon. I then went back to T-Mobile to transfer data, at which time I found out that not everything was backed up on the Google cloud. Only some of my photos/videos (from Oct 2019 back) were there, but not all of my contacts, and none of my Samsung Notes nor Secure Folders - UGH! I asked what else could be done, and they said I could try a repair shop, and recommended All In One Repair right there in Woodstock. Well, let me tell you, the tech 'Wizards of Woodstock' ended up being my saviors!!! Right from the start, Alex was the absolute BEST. He took my phone to the back shop, opened it up to do a thorough examination. When he came back out, he said there was still some water inside, and some corrosion had set in with certain components (and confirmed the screen was DOA). Alex patiently described a detailed and meticulous drying process he could put various components through that might result in him being able to get at the data for transfer. As this was on a late Friday afternoon, he asked if he could keep the phone over the weekend to try and work some magic, and I said absolutely. He asked that I call him on Monday @ 1 p.m. for an update. When I called, he had GREAT news - the results of the thorough 'dry out' process had worked, and he was going to be able to get at the data for transfer. He then let me know he had a solution for the one other challenge he had - the dead screen. Since he needed to be able to 'view', and so that I could unlock the phone, he located a cracked but functional Samsung S10+ screen he could swap in for the transfer process - YAY!! So I headed to All in One, and Alex began the process. He first made sure that EVERYTHING was backed up on Google cloud (and revised settings to make sure everything would be from that point forward), then started. Since it was ALOT of data and a wireless process, it took close to four hours, but SUCCESS AT LAST!! And the charge for everything was VERY reasonable, especially considering the time and effort put into this 'project'. I can't thank the All In One team enough -both Alex, and Ed the owner. For issues with any of your tech items - phones, tablets, laptops, misc. other electronics - THESE are the guys you want to work with, for SURE!! THANK YOU...
Read more3 stars for the fantastic customer service with the front desk guy. The reason I took 2 stars off is because I didn’t have a great experience with their skills to fix electronics. The first time I tried them was bringing my iPhone as the screen was frozen. It took them a month to give me a call back to tell me which I already knew and told them before. They told me a price but not sure whether it would work which made me feel not confident with their knowledge. After I picked up my phone and decided to go to a farther place to fix my phone, I found out that they messed up my phone more and there were missing screws. I’m glad I went to Barrington to fix my iPhone! The tech there has way more experience and he fixed my phone with a better price and I felt so confident of him so I don’t recommend to take your iPhone to all in one repair.
The first experience was like 2 years ago but I still want to support our local business so I brought my laptop for them to fix . Again, it took them like 2 weeks to figure out what’s the problem. Then they charged me $90 for switching the memory card into a different slot as the other one was broken. If it involves with a new part to replace, I understand the price, but it’s not. I don’t think that price is fair plus you waited for more than 2 weeks to get an answer. So I don’t think I will try your store again with any of my electronics. I will go to Cary to repair my computer or laptop next time with a much reasonable price.
The only thing great about your store is that front desk gentleman is always nice, kind and friendly. But the knowledge of repairing electronics with my two not good experiences, I am sorry that I won’t come back again.

Read moreBest repair shop and best prices! Please read on! I’ve repaired many electronics in my life at quite a few places. I’ve been to a shop where a family member worked and I got a discount and also shops that were recommended by friends and I can tell you this is the best place! I came here out of convenience for time constraints but I have kept going because this place is the best! At All in One Repair I’ve had a laptop, and 4 phones repaired. All of which I thought were a lost cause or would be too expensive to repair and might as well get new ones. The owner is very knowledgeable, has reasonable prices, and has quick/efficient results. My most recent repair visit on 8/16/2023, 30 min before close. I was greeted by the owner who had a full lobby and he was working alone. I was absolutely amazed at how cordial, professional, and efficient he was at serving everyone. He even offered me to stay and wait because he could fix my problem very quickly (even though I walked in 30 min before close and was the last to be served and it was now past closing time). I must also emphasize how impressive it was that as soon as I handed him the phone he knew exactly what was wrong with it without me having to explain what happened!!! I also like how he explains the work done or what needs to be done in a way that you can understand and even gives advice how to avoid future problems. “All In One Repair” really lives up to its name! Just in the name it shows how much thought and effort he puts into all aspects of...
