I have been a regular customer of this Pizza Hut since moving to Woodstock 3 years ago, and never had any major problems before yesterday. This location is poorly managed, and I was extorted for food I had already paid for. It seems to me that this was an elaborate scheme for them to demand extra cash to put directly in their pockets. Not only will I never be back to Pizza Hut after this fiasco, but I intend to contact corporate again and insist on filing a complaint.
Last night I ordered a pizza at 7:16 pm and used my points to get a free order of bread sticks. My total came out to $16 and I paid with my credit card. After I placed the order, I was given a wait time of 65-85 minutes, which is a bit long, but as it is the holiday season, I was patient. TWO HOURS after placing my order, it had still not arrived. I got a call from the Pizza Hut stating that my order was en route, but that something had gone wrong and they demanded that I have cash to pay the difference in addition to the tip. I told them that I had used my points, and that there must be some glitch in the system. Not only that, but I paid with my card because I did not have cash. My email receipt showed my total was $16, but I was being told that the order was over $25! Rodney, who claimed to be the store manager, told me that he had no control over online orders and that I should call corporate. I asked him that if he was the manager, why couldn't he just comp the difference to make it right. He again told me that I would have to call corporate. The price he quoted me made no sense, as even without the breadsticks being free, the total should not have been that high. I asked for the corporate number and for the contact information for the franchise partner. I was only given corporate's number. When I called corporate, I was informed that my order had been cancelled (when I had just been told it was on the way less than 5 minutes before). They accused me of somehow adding more food to the order after paying and then of putting in the coupon wrong. I explained that I ordered through the app in the same way that I have done for years with no problem. The lady from corporate called the store and put me on a 3-way call with Rodney. They argued with me for 15 minutes, demanding that I either pay the inflated price or they would not give me my food. I asked to file a formal complaint with corporate and was refused. In the end, when I mentioned that I would never order from Pizza Hut again, they decided to comp my meal. I accepted the offer, only to be told that they had no delivery drivers available. I ended up going to pick up the food myself at 10pm (remember, I...

I decided to go in at 5:00 to check on the status, after noticing several other people standing outside waiting also. Once in, I talked to the manager, an older lady with glasses, which already had an attitude just going by her demeanor. I was told, by the customer in front of me, that she was short tempered with her also. So I asked the status of my pizza, she quickly said it was cooking, then proceeded to walk away like she didn't have time to explain, not only to me, but EVERYONE waiting. 30 minutes passed. As I stood there, another customer came up and she started arguing with him also. He asked could he get some type of discount for waiting about an hour to get his pizza. She said that she couldn't give any future discount because, and I quote, "You gettin yo pizza, right?" I asked the manager to cancel my order and I'll just get my money back. She replied, "I can't do dat." Some more words were exchanged, out of anger by this time. Ok, moving on. One of the other co-workers FINALLY put my pizza in the oven up front to keep it warm until pick up. I asked the manager if that was my pizza. She said, “NO, I just put yours in the oven in the back” and proceeded to walk to the back again. When another employee came up I asked him the same question. He looked at the same pizza that she said WASN’T mine, all the while it was. My recommendation..... If this lady considers herself to be a manager, I suggest that she start off as a restroom attendant, and slowly work her way back up to management, and maybe also take some type of customer relation training. If Pizza Hut is not where she wants to be, maybe she should find another career. I recommend something where she doesn't have to deal...
Read moreI have ordered from this location several times. The food is incredibly inconsistent. Last weekend I ordered one of the pizza and pasta boxes and two items from the five Dollar lineup. When my order was delivered one of the items was missing from the lineup. When I called Pizza Hut to let them know I was informed to let them know next time I order and it would be corrected (since it was too late when I noticed the food was missing, because it was delivered to our babysitter while we were out). Today I called to place another order. When I explained the situation I was interrupted several times by the Faith (the employee). She said that I was given incorrect information and there was nothing that she could do. She sounded annoyed with me and was very short. When I asked if there was a solution to the problem because I paid for that food she informed me that I could call back on Tuesday to speak with her manager.....With her attitude and tone of voice the way it was. I then asked if there was somebody that I could speak to above her manager possibly today. She then said “I gave you the name of my manager and you can talk to her then. But I will be speaking to her before then.”
This entire interaction was poor customer service and I will definitely not order from this location again.
Obviously looking at their reviews I am not the only one who...
