Cool Corner Creamery — Restaurant in Woonsocket

I have been going here, often taking my grandchildren along, for a few years under the new ownership. This husband and wife team run their business under the old-fashioned idea that, “The customer is always right.” Both of them are ALWAYS friendly and as helpful as possible. Recently, I ordered ice cream from an employee who was so rude and unpleasant to me as a customer, that I was embarrassed for other customers to hear how she spoke to me. Fortunately, the next time I went she was gone! Friends have said that, if the same thing happened to them, they would never have gone back. I was lucky to have known from experience that this was DEFINITELY NOT the way the owners wanted their customers treated. I don’t go anywhere else for ice cream, but as they become more and more popular, they are busier every week! They are SO customer centered that they mix a special combination for me - which I won’t share because everyone...

Not sure if new owners took over. But it was better last yr. And here's the reasoning, the lady at the counter wasn't listening to my order. And then she had the kid make my sundae, and I'm guessing it was his first day of making a Sundae or he just doesn't care: cuz he's a kid. He only looks about 10 to 15 years old. He puts the chocolate fudge in the bottom of the cup. Who makes a Sundae like that? Then on top of it all, they forget to add my strawberries. And I have to ask for a cherry?? If he's your son: why don't you teach him how to make the Sundae at home 1st, or learn how yourself? Before making the kind of Sundae I could have made at home. But at least mine would have looked better!! And made with all the ingredients I asked for. She was too interested in talking to some friends that visited her. What happened to the tall guy with the brown hair, that used to work there? He always listened & made my sundaes...

I don't care if you watched your surveillance to see the horrible service you gave my friend was next to order and had a simple two scoop ice cream he was trying to order you chose to skip over him and help a Spanish guy because you " only speaks ice cream Spanish" whatever that means! And you saw me take a bit of my melted hard ice cream that was sitting there melting waiting for two shakes for like a 8 minutes. The ice cream was good but your service wasn't won't be going back and to respond to a review the way you did was very unprofessional you should have apologized for your mistake on skipping someone that was waiting there to be served he even said I'm ordering and you put your hand up at him to shush him basically.
