Papa Gino's — Restaurant in Woonsocket

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never experienced as bad customer service and attitude as I did here, especially with a manager. My car was being worked on in the garage across the street and they were waiting for a part. So I decided to grab lunch to kill time. I ordered a sub and fries. I waited and waited because like I said I wasn't going anywhere and I saw they were short handed and were dealing with a few orders. After an hour I finally asked where my food was politely. The manager looked at my receipt and said "I cooked this meal personally and we served it already" I said "well I never got it you may have served it to the wrong person" She said "I don't know if I believe you and I don't know what to say. That meal was served. Why are you just saying something now an hour later?" I replied "because my car is being worked in, I have nowhere to go, I could see you were a little short staffed, and I was trying to be patient" she asked the server if she served the meal and the server said no. The manager said "again someone served you I don't know what to tell you" I said "I want my meal or my money back and I won't leave until I get one of those". She said "relax we will remake it" I was sitting down at the booth and heard her talking about me to her staff". When my food was ready she slid the dish down the table at me and said "enjoy your free seconds". I could not believe this was coming from a manager. Not one apology except from a couple fellow customers. The funny thing was that the lady who was a couple spots in front of me in line ordered 2 slices of pizza and never got her order which was served to the wrong person as well. Poorly managed and organized if you as me. Because of this experience not only will I never go to this location but it is very unlikely that I will ever go to any Papa...

Ordered pizza online at 1:50 in the afternoon. We were quoted a delivery time of 30 minutes. After waiting 20 minutes after the food was due I called. When I told them that I had not received my food yet and it was due 20 minutes ago the person on the phone said it had not left yet but was leaving at that time. 20 minutes later the food finally arrived. Everything was stone cold. I called back asking for a manager who said she could remake it but it would be at least another hour. I asked why someone hadn’t called and told me why it was going to take so long because I would of gone and picked it up considering it was 45 minutes late. She told me that she didn’t know why it was late and it was cold outside and she couldn’t control the weather. When I asked if she could refund some of my money she said if I wanted her to refund some of my money then she would send someone back to pick up all my food. She became extremely rude and began talking over me as I tried to explaining to her that I didn’t want to wait another hour and half for food. Again she kept repeating that she didn’t know why it was late. I will never order from here again. Staff apparently doesn’t care about customers and the manager is clueless about what happens in her...

We hadn't had Papa Ginos in quite a while so decided to have it for dinner. Ordered online. Went about 30 minutes later to pick up. It was not busy but had to wait 5 minutes for someone to come up to the front register to help. 6 employees. Maybe 2 actually looking like were doing anything. I was amazed by the speed (or lack there of) that the kitchen was working. One woman just stood at the table on the side of the kitchen watching everyone else work. Two other guys chatting while very slowly putting a pizza together. My takeout order was not ready. The guy apologized and said it would be a few more minutes. I kept watching the kitchen workers and wondered why everything was in slow motion. About 10 minutes later, my food was ready and I left. I just have to wonder what they do when they are busy? The guy that worked the counter was the only one hustling and he very obviously had some sort of injury to his leg as he was limping. If he could hustle with an injury why couldn't 5 other able bodied people working there do the same. Now I know why we don't go there and wont be back...
