Hands-down, the best chicken Shawarma in Worcester. . I have fried multiple Shawarma places in the Worcester and Shrewsbury. This is one of the best places to have in this region. The chicken shawarma is well marinated mild Arabic spices, pickles , hummus , garlic sauce & sliced tomatoes, it’s wrapped in medium sized toasted flat bread. It was medium loaded with chicken. . Beef shawarma was bit dry and lemon flavor was a bit high. . They had a lot of other Arabic dishes, like falafel and Kibbeh. . 👉Chicken shawarma (5 stars) ( $8) 👉Beef (3 stars) ($9) . Ambience is pretty nice. They have old Resturant vibe and they have a small little Arabic shop below it, you can get some imported mango and guava drinks. They also have some Arabic sweets, which are in boxes.
Street marketing is difficult, but opposite there is a parking lot for two dollars an hour. .
Absolutely no frills and no extra tips which makes us place more affordable, wanting to go again...
Read moreA friendly place with delicious food and a rather nice setting. During our visit on 7/10/21 we were the only ones eating at the restaurant, but the space has plenty of room for several families to enjoy a good meal. This restaurant specializes in Lebanese food. We had a hankering for Chawarmas and we were going to eat here no matter what because our next stop was the new Canal Street market. Our host offered samples of at least one item we wanted to try. She was very friendly and we had a good conversation with the cooks as well. Authentic desserts were omnipresent. Given the competent cooking and the accommodating reception I can't really imagine going wrong here. One small issue was that the sign for the restaurant was not clear and we had to call to figure out which...
Read moreWe’ve been frequenting BayState bakery for many years and the food has been good but in the last two years the quality of the meals has deteriorated. Today we ordered the chicken shawarma platter. The chicken was too dry. It was like eating cardboard. The pickles were unbearable salty. The hummus was runny and salty and tasted like tahini. The only things good on the plate were the rice, little salad and garlic sauce. We also ordered the loubeih. It was very oily and the green beans were overcooked. Used to love this place but don’t think I’ll be coming back. Other people I know have had similar experience there. Hopefully they make some...
