I grabbed a plain, large cheese pizza from them last night at about midnight (they closed at 1am). I usually get a regular cheese pizza if it's my first time trying a place to see how good they really are. I even told the guy it was my first time trying the place out. Sadly, what should have been a common pizza joint staple came out basically inedible.. I could only get 2 slices down before I threw the rest away. This pizza was the most stale pizza imaginable. I didn't even know pizza could get that stale - and I eat a TON of pizza!! If they can not make an edible plain cheese pizza, God forgive them for whatever else they're doing in that kitchen. I would not let any friends of mine eat at Golden Pizza on Grafton Street, Worcester, MA. The real fear is, if they're serving up pizza dough (probably their fastest moving product,) and it's so old it's stale... Well that stale dough raises a bunch of red flags to me. It tells me that they're probably freezing (or refrigerating) every ingredient that they have for indefinite periods of time, probably with no date labels on them, and serving them to people without ever considering that it might be expired. Pizza dough, cheese, and sauce are obviously going to be their biggest sellers. Literally there's no excuse for having any of those things be stale/expired - you should be flying through it and ordering more as it sells. This kind of cut costing (or laziness) is a giant red flag! It says they probably don't clean as they should. And when picking up my pizza I did notice the hood over the grill was DISGUSTING. All of the ceiling tiles had some kind of water stain or mildew on them. And if they're freezing dough like that, it's a very safe bet that they're doing the same with all of their other ingredients! So, if for some very strange reason you DO go here (DON'T)... Just think of what I said before you order something off the menu that has an ingredient that it's commonly ordered.. Chances are it's older than you are....

Terrible customer service, slow service and an owner who was disrespectful to me over the phone in front of my daughter telling me to stop talking and the customer isn't always right. I Called at 7:08 got there early maybe 15 mins later knew there'd be a wait, but we were on our way home. Pizza was done, steak and cheese being made. They had us prepay $80 (apparently anything over 50) couldn't find the potato skins, asked to be refunded not to worry the woman refused. Now it's 755 fries and wings had been cooked and ready to go all while my pizza and sub sat, then she tells us they couldn't find broccoli bites, now all my foods sitting and she sent out another worker to grab sour cream from a store cause she was out. 2 woman really trying to hold it down but just not experienced I was very understanding at first as I know they were overwhelmed. The poor woman got the manager on the phone to help and he was rude to both her and I and told me he's watching me on the cameras. I simply asked to be refunded for the food they didn't have. Checked the other food and it was all ice cold! Told him and he said oh well. Left without my food or money. Will never return. We used to frequent here before new ownership. Read moreThe owner is the rudest most disrespectful person I've ever met. I went in as a doordasher. He for some reason was so upset that I had come in moments after I accepted the order, because I just happened to be right around the corner. I was waiting at the counter just on my phone, and he turns again and start up with it going to be 10 minutes. I just said in a polite way "thats fine im in no rush at all". He then turns to me again in a very aggressive manner and says again " its going to be 10 minutes what aren't you getting?! Are you not understanding! Sit down" at this point I was very upset with him speaking to me this way because all I said when I walked in was hello im here for this person. So I end up saying what is your problem? He then turns to me at yells " Im the owner! Get out!" I told him no, im not leaving without the order. The other gentleman with him gave me the order and apologized for his behavior. Now I get there is always two sides of a story, but never once was I rude to this man until he started disrespecting me. All because I showed up to pick up the order moments after I received it.
