I brought my kids here (5 and 7) on Saturday afternoon/evening 3/16/24. The place was packed the whole time we were there. I really loved the pay per time option vs the arcade standard of pay per game. The best part of the place was the staff, hands down. I was thoroughly impressed with each and every employee that I had an interaction with. The first one was a young man at the enter/exit gates. I asked him about the different play purchase options-this was our first time to Chuck E. Cheese so I wasn’t sure what exactly to do. He happily explained the difference between the “minutes” and “points” options at the kiosk and what best suits different types of kids. I could tell he genuinely wanted to be helpful, which he was! As well as friendly and polite. Another employee I encountered was a girl at the front counter who was taking people’s food orders and helping guests who needed it. I believe her name was Jasmine but I’m not positive. Anyway I had to bother this poor girl at least 3 different times if not more due to my purchases not being credited to my rewards account. Even though she had to deal with me all of those times for something as stupid as rewards points, she was patient and understanding the entire time. She never got annoyed, frustrated or impatient. She was happy to help and didn’t mind that I had to keep coming back. I felt horrible to have to do that to her but she never made me feel like it was an issue. Finally, the last employee I want to mention was the girl at the arcade prize counter around 8pm. I’m not sure of her name but she had glasses and short dark hair. Anyway there was a ton of families surrounding the counter waiting for their turn to cash in their points. She was the only one (initially) waiting on the giant crowd of impatient, tired, cranky kids and parents alike anxious to redeem their arcade points so they couls go home. In between all the craziness of trying to manage arcade points and prizes for each family she also had random kids coming up to the counter shouting questions at her about this toy or that prize etc etc and so on. She managed to answer questions thrown at her very quickly and without missing a beat with the family she was helping choose prizes. Most surprising thing about all of this is that the staff I am referring to here are all young! Can’t be more than 20 tops and that’s a guess on the far high end. Overall the place was great, employees top notch and the value was pretty good. Only complaints I have is that the games don’t earn a lot of tickets. Which is understandable due to the play per time option. However, the prizes cost a LOT of tickets. Like, an exorbitant amount. Arcade prizes are always a rip off but in this case it was next level. We ended up with about 5k tickets after playing from 2p-8ish which cost me about $150 for the play time. At least half of those 5k tickets were from promotional offers/rewards etc. so I spent enough to earn 2000 bonus e tickets thru rewards plus they sent me 500 bonus for registering up on the app. So really at the end of the day we only earned approx 2500 tickets without the extra ones that were gifted/earned thru rewards. Even with 5k tickets we only left with 2 sm stuffed animals/couple tiny pieces of candy. two swirly pops, cotton candy. that’s pretty much it. Also, food was expensive but that was to be expected.
Thank you again to your awesome crew. Hope they get some...
Read moreLarge Chuck E Cheese with lots of options for kids. Been to this location about half a dozen times with no problems. Went today for my son’s birthday and had the worst experience. We paid for two 90 minute cards and paused them to eat when the food came out. When we went to resume play we realized my son’s card didn’t pause from the machine. I went to talk to the manager to explain the situation, but he was mean, rude and unwilling to help. He called me a liar and said I never paused the card. He said he couldn’t do anything for me right away, without even checking my daughter’s card for proof we paused the cards, or the cameras. This is the first time I see this shift manager at this location and my other experiences with management were good.
The shift manager showed poor customer service skills, was visibly miserable with his job, looked like he was high on drugs, and should simply not be a manager. I will not go to this location again. I paid $117 for a couple hours of fun for my kids and all I got was disrespected and talked down to for something that I would consider an easy fix. They have cameras that would have easily shown I paused 3 cards and they could easily see I was sitting for 35 min eating with my family. The machine didn’t issue the pause on the card, but I had proof of two other cards that were paused around the same time. Why would I pause 2 cards and leave 1 without pausing, makes no logical sense.
In my previous experiences at this location I would grant 5 stars, but this was really bad. The shift manager was unreasonable and simply said he wasn’t going to help me because he didn’t feel like it, because of my ‘attitude’. Unbelievable, anyone would get upset when they explain a situation in detail and you call them a liar and say they didn’t do something they did. I didn’t raise my voice or swear at him, I was just trying to understand why he couldn’t reconcile the card. He got upset because I asked him if he was calling me a liar, and he said the machine doesn’t lie, so in essence the machine is calling me the liar. Either way, was too much drama for a couple hours of fun, super disappointed Chuck E Cheese is hiring people like this to manage. Will take my kids to Dave N Busters, APEX, or Great Wolf...
Read moreWe just had our son’s birthday party here. But the customer service we received was very poor and didn’t expect such service, will never choose this chain again. We took the basic 99.9 plan and avoided the upgraded packages just because we had more guests and I didn’t want the dipping dots ice cream, wanted to include trampoline which the kids love (but outrageously extra priced for the small trampolines and nonsensical that is not included in the birthday package). We will be spending much more than the upgraded packages in the end, for which we are ok, but the way we were left waiting for most basic stuff was embarrassing in front of the guests. Cake arrived so late, it took forever for the person to announce the bday show, she didn’t get the knife to cut the cake and we had to wait at the counter for 5 min to ask for it after blowing off the candles. we had to go to the counter for every little thing such as spoons or cutlery. They don’t even provide jugs to fill in juice or water for kids and they said it’s NOT INCLUDED in basic package. We have to go and refill at the station each time. How silly can this be? It’s not even written anywhere as they know this is as stupid as it can get. While the rides and kids play all seemed great, the service was so embarrassing. Had to walk to the counter a hundred times and wait there for an attender, why do you even have just one over there? If you can’t employ more and get a fast service why do you keep the facility open on a Sunday evening? Someone commented that’s what we get for keeping the basic package without host, so this is how you make us wait for small things? Even the trampoline was not kept open after buying passes and waiting for more than 15 min. Even after reminding the kid in front that we have passes and socks purchased he still went away to talk to his colleague. Had to go and remind again. When I had my daughter’s birthday 2 years ago we took the basic package then too, but didn’t face this challenge. Utterly annoyed and never returning for a...
