We have ordered from the Worcester Panera several times for our office staff. Five out six times, the the Panera Staff has forgotten to send an item or has gotten the order incorrect. The only reason we continue to order from Panera is because the quality of the food is superb and our order can be delivered to the office.
The last time we ordered from Panera, Doordash delivered the food. Panera once again sent Chicken Noodle Soup instead of Cream of Chicken and Wild Rice Soup. I called the the Worcester Panera Store from which we ordered and asked for a refund for the item they did not send. The store manager proceeded to say that Panera could not refund me and that I had to call Doordash. I called Doordash Customer Service and after 30 minutes with a representative I was then patched over to Panera Customer Service. After another 20 minutes, the Panera Customer Service Representative was able to refund me and explain to me that the Panera Store in which I ordered from should have been able to issue me a refund over the phone. What should been a 10 minute resolution with one person, ended up being an hour resolution after speaking to 3 people. What has happened to customer service?
If you want to order from a restaurant where you know you will get the same quality every time, then Panera is a good choice. If you want quality food and great customer service every time , do not go to the Worcester, Massachusetts Restaurant on Gold...
Read moreI usually enjoy Panera food, however, after receiving a catered order of sandwiches today I’ll no longer eat here. If there was a negative star option from the rating list I would have selected this. Let me explain.
Earlier this week we ordered a total of 11-12 assorted sandwiches with chips, drinks, cookies, etc. for a total of $170. We received the sandwiches today (8/3/24) and after they were unwrapped, and to my horror, ALL the avocado on each sandwich were “black”and looked inedible so we didn’t touch any of the sandwiches or anything else that was delivered.
I ended up calling the location (Goldstar Blvd in Worc) to have this resolved, but was told that Panera couldn’t do anything because it was beyond five hours since the sandwiches were delivered (the sandwiches were delivered at 11:30am and I called at 4:45pm—15 min beyond the 5 hour window). I even offered to send in photographs which were taken 30min after delivery) and offered to return everything (which was untouched) and they still couldn’t do anything.
My guess was that these sandwiches had been sitting for some time (possibly days) and were then dellivered to us. Won’t go back...
Read moreI have not been to a Panera for many years, but I decided to give it a try on a Sunday morning after making a ton of food on Saturday. I was looking forward to a quick treat that I didn't have to slave over. I ordered using the Pick Up option on DoorDash. My wife ordered the Croissant Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich ($8.59). I ordered the Ciabatta Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich ($8.59). I also ordered the Spinach & Bacon Soufflé ($8.79) to share later or keep for Monday morning. Both my wife and I were underwhelmed by the size for the price. When I opened my sandwich, the bacon was all crammed up on one side. With some of these negatives out of the way, the flavors and freshness made up for feelings of being disappointed in the size of each item. I feel I could spend less at Dunkin, but the quality isn't always great at Dunkin. The order was ready when I arrived, and the staff member that grabbed it for me was friendly. Based on the good quality and taste of the ingredients, I would order from this...
