Ready Set Pizza — Restaurant in Worcester

In the past the food was delicious but now it is less than mediocre. I have ordered multiple times and been very patience with the place since the food was so good, but lately, the service (whoever is answering the phone) is someone so rude that he even hung up on people, laughs at you when you point out that the food you received is wrong and fights over it. My friend ordered a pasta with chicken and shrimp one night and it only came with shrimp. Another time, i had ordered pasta and salads and my pasta had a very long and curled hair, i had eat 1/4 of the pasta before finding it inside the, you can only imagine how nasty and disgusting that felt. last week I ordered a salad with steak and chicken and only received it with steak, did not call them because it was already late and told myself, “well they probably were busy” but that is not excuse, I paid for something I didn’t even see. know it was the last straw when I ordered 2 alfredo pastas with chicken and when I got them, they had meatballs and sausage. When I called, the person on the phone laughed about my complaint even tho he had confirmed the order twice before and even remembered the order. They mess with your food on...

As a new resident of Worcester, coming from the pizza capital of the country, New Jersey, I was a bit skeptical about finding a local pizza spot that could meet my high standards. Ready Set Pizza completely blew me away, and I couldn’t be happier to have found my new go-to. From the moment I walked in, Abu Omar greeted me with genuine warmth and professionalism. He went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied, which was easy because the pizza was phenomenal. The cheese was perfectly gooey, and the sauce had a rich, tangy flavor that was perfectly balanced—true pizza magic. While my slices were in the oven (only about a six-minute wait), Abu Omar shared stories of his family in Lebanon, making the experience even more personal. It felt like more than just a pizza stop—it was a taste of home. I also couldn’t help but notice the constant flow of delivery drivers picking up box after box, a clear sign that this place is a community favorite. We got a menu in the mail, so we decided to give it a try when our friends came to visit. We moved here about a year and a half ago, and hadn't really tried too many pizza places yet.

We were VERY pleased with the food! The chicken tenders and chicken bites were delicious. I got a small extra cheese pizza for myself and thought it was very flavorful. One of my friends got a fish fry, which he said was actually better than the one he gets from a seafood place he frequents. He also said the cheesecake was very good. And my fiancée got a buffalo chicken pizza, which she loved (and she's picky about pizza!)

Furthermore, the person who took the order was very patient and accommodating with us splitting this into two separate orders for delivery. The delivery driver was very nice too, and he even let us take the bag inside to take our food out, since it was easier than trying to hand us all the individual things we got.
