HORRIBLE!!! If I could give this place negative stars I would!!! Went with my IMMEDIATE FAMILY and we had the WORST experience ever. It's sad because we all LOVE going to Denny's, but this Denny's ruined it for us! We were told the wait would be 30 mins. and would get texted when it was time. When the 30 mins. passed, NOTHING, so we decided to wait more, and yes, that's on us, but we were really excited to be there. After ONE HOUR, we finally got our table BUT, my family was split. They told us they could not combine the tables, so they sat 2 of us apart. Fine!
Then we waited, and waited, and waited, and after a long time, a waitress finally came by and took our order for DRINKS, and we told her about the other table being part of our group too. She did not go to them immediately, so they had to wait even longer to get their order for drinks. When the waitress finally did go to them, we told them we were ready to place our food order as well to which she said she would return as she had to deliver food to another table. So we kept on waiting. Why we didn't walk out sooner? I ask myself that same question, I guess we were just giving them the "benefit of the doubt" as the waitress was really nice.
After a while, we were all getting frustrated as NOBODY came to take our order, and my sister went to the Host by the main entrance and told her nobody had taken our order, and she responded that somebody would come by to take our order and just said that because our family was in two separate tables, that belonged to 2 separate waiters/waitresses, they did not want to come to us. So we were really bothered and told the host that they were the ones that split us, even though we are all the same family and that it was not our fault. The hostess just said again somebody would come by. As we were finally deciding to leave after about an hour, somebody did come to our table, and apologized for the wait, and she said she would take our order, but at this point we are all frustrated but decided to give it a shot anyway.
So we ordered, and more timed passed, and when the food was brought out to two of us, it was obvious that the bacon was not fully cooked, and the hash browns were not either, they were PALE, not crispy on top like usual. Just looking at the food took our hunger away. It was clear that the food was rushed and not cooked properly. Even when a DIFFERENT waitress brought out our food, the order was wrong, and we told her we did not order that item, and the manager from behind the counter was yelling at the waitress saying "That's what they ordered so give it to them!" Which we did not, but she went ahead and put the plate down on our table anyway. At this point, we had really had enough. We are very patient people, but after all of this chaos, and 2 hour wait, and food being undercooked, we FINALLY decided to leave.
We even asked to speak to a manager, which he never came to us, or showed his face so we were very disappointed. Also worth mentioning, while we were seated, we saw many different families come and go and get attended, while we just sat there and waited. Very disappointed and sad how nobody wanted to do their job. OH! and my two family members that were seated on a separate table were by the kitchen area, and could hear the waiters/waitresses arguing and yelling at each other. Read moreAbsolutely horrendous! On Sunday, July 2nd I took my wife and grand children out to dinner after church service. We were immediately seated by the host upon arrival (a real good thing) Then it took our waitress Ashley 15 - 20 minutes to decide to come and access our table and our needs. Now it's around the three o'clock hour and the business is fairly busy, I totally get it and understand. A few minutes later my granddaughter accidentally spilled her milk on the table, it took a minute but Ashley finally brought some napkins to clean up the accident, she dropped a handful of napkins in the middle of our table, there was no attempt to help clean up the spilled milk. Now it's time to order, my wife orders chicken nuggets for the grandkids, in a very snarly reply Ashley responds "we ain't got no chicken nuggets" and looked at the wife as you better not question again. I order the ultimate omelet, I always have toast with my meal, heavy butter, toasted lightly, and not to be cut into pieces, well Ashley brings my toast cut into four pieces, I refuse it, she snatches it away off the table and mumbled something under her breath. Near the completion of our meal there were some used napkins on our table, the wife asked if they could be removed, Ashley responded I'll be back in a minute to get it, as she was leaving she was already empty handed. Ashley passes by a second time, the wife asks again to remove the rubbish, Ashley responds she is looking for something to put the garbage in. After approximately 5 - 7 minutes Ashley returns with looks to be a small size grits serving bowl in her hand. Our trash was already at the end of the table for easy removal. Ashley returned with her hand and bowl extended towards the trash. My wife is totally outdone by now, she asks you can't remove the garbage from the table you are serving? Ashley's responds was she didn't know what that garbage contained, we were told it could have been a load of snot. I'm like okay fine if that is the case, Ashley could have used other available napkins to remove the garbage, or went and got a pair of rubber gloves to remove it. Now the wife and I see Ashley's true colors of racism in full motion. We ask for a manager and to replace our waitress Ashley with someone else. A manager named Jesus came to our table, heard our complaint, and told us that now has to go to hear her side of the story! WHAT???? Shouldn't that be done on the back end of business??? The most hurting and disappointing thing was the Manager Jesus never apologized for our dissatisfaction, for what we deemed as terrible customer service from our waitress Ashley. My Brother Ordered The Zesty Nachos With NO Onion And NO Tomato Due To An Allergy When His Food Came Out There Were Many Visible Onions And Tomatoes In His Dish. Once He Asked To Send It Back The Servers And Even The Manager Was Rude. Complaining That Is How Their Food Is Made But He Was NOT Informed Of This At The Time Of Ordering. Secondly My Sister Ordered The Appetizer Platter Which Is A Pick 3 Item.Which Again We Weren't Informed Of. My Sister Asked How Many Cheese Sticks Come With The Platter And We Were Told 6 And We Ordered The Appetizer Sampler Tray. The Only Appetizer We Received Were Cheese Sticks Once We Looked Back Over The Menu And Asked For Our Next 2 Items The Waiter Tried To Convince Us And Her Manager (Kate) That we only ordered cheese sticks. Also my sister ordered a chicken wrap that was overly greasy. It honestly looked as if some one just dropped the whole wrap in a bucket of grease. Even the lettuce was greasy. My meal was completely wrong I ordered a prime rib and broccoli skillet what I received was a chicken and broccoli skillet.I tried to just suck it up and eat it because I was hungry but it was overly dry the chicken was over cooked and my vegetables was disgusting. Once I told Renèe my order was incorrect and my complaints she again tried to convince me that I ordered chicken so I asked the whole order be removed from my bill. My PREGNANT wife also ordered zesty nachos however they weren't zesty they were SALTY and SOGGY. the meat was horribly nasty. It tasted totally processed. The best ingredient was the sour cream. She began having serious stomach pains. My mother ordered a chicken fried steak which was so dry she could have started a fire trying to cut it and it wasn't hot. She also ordered cheese mashed potatoes which I feel could have been better it was regular mashed potatoes with shredded cheese on top and thrown in a microwave to melt the cheese. The cheese was NOT spread through out the mashed potatoes instead it was clumped up on top. In conclusion my family and I were 100% unpleased with our meal and we will not be back.
