Tailgators — Restaurant in Worth Township

It's a long time Oak Lawn Staple. Definitely a locals kind of place. I have lived in Oak Lawn my whole life, and recently moved close by Tailgators. I'll be honest, I don't have too much of an insight into what the bar is like overall; I just go there to play the slots every now and then when I'm bored. But I can say in the few times I've gone there these are the things I've noticed: -Definitely a locals bar, a lot of regulars. -Mix of older and younger crowd. -There's a male bartender some nights and he's not very attentive to customers unless he knows you as a regular, or hes cleaning and pre closing up.. Had to wait to get a drink while he hugged 3 of his regulars that came in. I had attempted to get his attention 3 times. It's not so much a bother to me as I have al lot of experience working as a DJ in the bar industry, but I do write thorough and honest reviews, you might have to wait for a drink thats all I'm saying . The rest of the bar staff I've interacted with on other nights have been great. -Now the customers, everyone I've interacted with has been awesome and cool vibes and enjoy having conversations with each other. -THE SLOTS HIT BIG AND OFTEN! I'm talking thousand dollar jackpots and some of the most frequent bonus triggers I've seen. Amazing place to play if you want to win. Not to mention the people playing around you all cheer each other on and get excited for each other when there's big wins. I met some pretty cool people over there. One gentleman bought me a beer because he appreciated the good conversation we had. -I'm not sure about food or anything mixed drinks wise. I'm a Miller Lite drinker and they of course have that so I'm happy.

Overall it's great you're looking for a laid back local dive bar, where the beer is cold, the people are cool, and the slots win big....pop into Tailgators Oak Lawn and get a jackpot...

There was an old white man named Dickie who often works 7 PM - 2 AM shifts and was very disrespectful last Monday night. My friends and I came and had popcorn for half an hour, and were planning to buy something to drink soon. Suddenly, he came to our table and kicked us out because we hadn't ordered anything. I then went up to the register and asked for a soda for myself, and he refused to take my order and told us to leave. He also kicked out a girl once because she had 2 drinks, which according to him, was "too much". Will never come back there from 7 PM- 2...

I have never been cornered outside for more money. This manager cornered me for money demanding money. I have never felt so disrespected from any dive bar or local restraunt like i was at gators. From person to person this was terrible. There wings might be good but their service is ridiculously understated!! The manager who is always there and the bartenders are not in it to make you want to stay or be welcomed. I will never go back let alone will i recommend this...
