We've been here many times before, but all before the pandemic. This was our first time visiting since they opened back up and there has been major changes to the menu. They no longer carry appetizers just pizza and I think only pizza. We really liked the pan pizza that was definitely a four star, the thin crust Nino's was also pretty good. All in all the pizza was good and the atmosphere ok. The only thing that is very off putting is the awful sewage smell emanating from the bathroom. I mean it was atrocious, the bathroom wasn't even dirty, but if it was you wouldn't even be able to tell because your sense of smell would have already been invaded by the noxious and toxic scent of fresh sewage. Seriously, they need to fix that.

Our waitress was Cathy, she was amazing. Our beer and sangria was delightful as was she. Made us feel welcome and comfortable the whole time. I had the Chicago deep dish pizza and my husband had the thin crust pizza and it was amazing. Please try their deep dish, it was awesome! Our appetizer was the sampler, and it was good as well. I ate fried zucchini with ranch Omg šŸ˜‹šŸ¤‘šŸ˜Œ

Typical south side pizza joint. The pizza is solid and the service was OK. The thin crust is a little on the thicker side, the sauce a little sweet, and the toppings are Chicago classics. Has a great dimly lit ambiance. Feels like as if ran by the same family for decades.

Ninos' pizza is truly one of the best in the south burbs to me and my family. I tried the business for my first time using Groupon (occasionally available for the past couple of years) and have been back a few more times with and without coupons. No frills. Ample toppings. Thin crust is not too thin or thick with a perfect crunch. Flavorful sausage. Balanced sauce. One minor flavor gripe: my fries were fresh but unsalted when ordered.

However, there is a bit to be desired when dining in: service was poor, bathrooms are uncomfortably small, and the decor is dated and cafeteria-like. I feel like I've drawn the short straw on both dine-in occasions. While my interactions with the staff have been enjoyable -- asking the carryout area for peanuts in a shell, location of the bathroom -- my servers have been lackluster to say the least.

Last night, for my party of 9, I asked my server "How many grown adults does your family size usually serve?" She responded "It depends on how hungry you are." I politely pushed the question in a couple of different ways to try to unearth a more guided answer. I thought a range of people was a perfectly fine answer. My guess was 4 to 6, but my server was unable to confirm or deny. We ordered a little less than we should have even though I would have happily ordered more. On another occasion -- Pi Day to be exact -- there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant. I felt bad for my server. On the other hand, my server offered no apology for the inordinate wait time to our party of 7. There was also no update on the status of our order.

Nino's offers quality pizza at a fair price. I highly recommend everyone try it! However, carryout may be your...

So highly disappointing!!I was sitting enjoying my blue moon after sitting in my car on a 7 hour road trip...I Was in major need of some "ME TIME" So as I sat there looking over the Menu....I was approached by a waitress "Elaine" She began by telling me that I needed to get up because "JUST IN CASE THEY GOT THIS MASSIVE RUSH AT 5:15 P.M. ON A WEDNESDAY EVENING THEY NEEDED TO GET ME UP AND OUT OF MY TABLE!! I told her respectfully that I would more then happily get up in case they got so bombarded with this huge rush of people on a Wednesday evening . Considering I was alone and simply watching The T.V. they had on while my pizza was being made. I have always patronized Nino's establishment ever since they originated in Chicago Heights, it has always been my favorite. But honestly after this experience with this waitress by the name of "Elaine" my whole outlook has changed !!If it wasn't for my waitress Ashley I wouldve walked out before my pizza was even made. But certainly that not being my style I chose to wait and ride it out . Honestly Nino's you should really consider a retraining program with your waitress "Elaine " she has absolutely NO CLASS WHAT SO EVER!!And needs retraining in...

I had a terrible experience tonight at Nino's in Alsip, IL. I usually go here every 3 - 4 weeks. I gave a coupon $10 off, it says one certificate per month, and my server Mary told me could use once. She was so creepy she actually was getting off on the fact that I had this coupon and basically said its people like u that keep reusing coupon. Given the fact that this place has a running coupon of $5 Off $30 order every week, I hardly think $10 coupon once a month calls 4 the creepy attitude Mary had toward us, especially since we spend around $100 or so a month here. Plus note that Mary didn't even Mention $5 off coupon which is printed in local paper every week. I called 2 talk 2 manager and was Mary r server. I called back, had some words with Nick, He said please don't ever come back. Believe u me if I am going 2 eat out now, I'm going 2 dine at a restaurant, not at this joint. There r napkins and forks under tables, and they mop the floor while u r still eating. What is going on in back if this is going on in the front. This is how they treat regulars; not this one. Don't worry Mary and Nick, I'll never be back! ...
