How a business responds to issues, Speaks to the "PROFESSIONALISM" of the establishment and those operating the establishment!!!
I visited Palermo's after a highly recommendation from the front desk host of my hotel I was staying in during my visit. Upon my arrival I was excited from the look of the establishment to the aroma of the Italian meals being prepared that filled the air. I get to the host stand and instantly I get bad attitude from the young hostess that was working the host stand, the manner in which she carried herself from the initial greeting to escorting me to my table. "I had literally just got off the road from a 10hour drive and was determined not to let this young lady ruin my experience". I initially exited out of the restaurant and was about to take my business elsewhere, something told me "to go back in" I went back in and the manager and I think one of the owners (possibly) was right there talking to her trying to see what transpired. I immediately told them how she addressed me from the time I walked in to the escorting of me to my table. They responded with such professionalism and assurance that this was not how they operate or do business (without even saying it). This spoke to the integrity of this business, they didn't deflect the accountability of what took place....They were PROFESSIONAL!! The service from my waiter was impeccable, the food was Impeccable and impressive as well! I had calamari, Tried the pizza and tried the chicken Parmesan!! My total was $101 after my Tip. I am a world traveler and lots of people look at my google reviews as I am a honest Google Reviewer.
To the young lady working the host desk on 02/06/25 Be mindful of your actions and how you Treat individuals, when Great companies like this put you in a position to represent their brand....you represent them wholeheartedly because you are one of many faces that represent who they are as a company. The image you display could be detrimental to everything they've worked hard to build!!

Upon arrival, we were seated quickly and it immediately followed with different waiters or waitresses, bringing over water and bread. All whom didn’t have the best attitudes. Finally, when our final waitress came over, her attitude wasn’t any better. Her Mood and presence seemed very distant and cold, And not trying to play the race card at this point in time, but it seemed as though it had an effect.
I ordered the chicken Alfredo and my friend ordered The seasonal pasta con ricotta. We also ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. Their appetizer came out fairly quick. After that, we didn’t see our waitress come over to us for about 45 minutes. She finally arrived with the food. We were in shock because there wasn’t an apology for The wait or anything.
Mind you we came to this place based off of a social media review saying that the pasta was amazing and the pizza was even better. We should have listened and got the pizza because the pasta was absolutely terrible. Bland is an understatement, I’ve been to other authentic old-school Italian restaurants and have worked in one. This has to be the worst pasta we’ve experienced.
I would honestly rate my chicken Alfredo, a six out of 10 And my friends, Pasta con ricotta a four out of 10 and that’s being generous for her meal because it was literally pasta mixed with ricotta cheese warmed up. Absolutely no flavor at all. he said it was supposed to come with a sauce and that’s not a sauce at all
After taking a few bites of our food we realize that we didn’t even even want to be in the place anymore so we got our check paid and left regretting not talking to any manager on the way out. I would like to say I was gonna come back for the pizza, but I’m having strong feelings against it now.

I took my friend to Palermo's on June 5th, because she like the food and have been there several times.
We arrive and was seated immediately. There was a young man who was setting up tables, he stopped by our table and gave us water, he didn't speak and was very rude
The waitress finally came and took our order, and it took forever to get our food. Once we received our food and drinks, the waitress never came back to see if there was anything else we needed.
There were people at another table, who arrive after we did, but was served, given food to go, and their check before the waitress came to our table after an hour of waiting for the check.
I asked the waitress for the check, and my friend placed an order to go. I asked the waitress could she put both meals on one check, and put a separate check for my friend order. She said she could and will be back. It took another hour for her to returned with the food only. I asked about the bill and she said she will go and get the bill After waiting another hour, the waitress returned and the check was wrong. I asked the waitress if she could change the check and she said she could. It took the waitress a long time to come back, so I went to the counter, and asked for a manager. The waitress got the manager and told me that she would make changes on the bill. I talked to the manager about the service we received, and she apologize and told me she would let management know, but her apology was not sincere.
I never receive such bad service, and the food I ordered was not good. Also, the people who worked for this establishment are RACIST. I would never come back to this restaurant and I'm spreading the word to friends and family about the RACISM and TERRIBLE SERVICE...
