MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Wylie

I have tried Mod Pizza a couple of times. With exception of their specialty pizzas, which had hardly any toppings, their pizzas are fantastic... at least the couple of times I tried them in the past. The idea of "build your own" is great and there is always a good amount of toppings on the "build your own" option. I don't know if they just had an off day, but today was bad. I made the order online 20 minutes before arriving. In the past, I had it brought out to my car, but I went in today and saw how badly things are run. They seriously need to change their flow. People who walked in to make their order, were not only getting their pizzas cooked before me, but they were walking in, ordering, and getting their pizza before mine was even put together. I get the getting people in the restaurant taken care of faster, but it appears that they don't start online orders unless nobody is in line. It took 45 minutes from when the order was placed to when I got my food. I would have given 3 stars because of the food, but I gave 1, because of two reasons. 1)The order was made and put on the counter top for over five minutes before he ever called out the name. He boxed the pizza, placed it on the counter, stuck the receipt on it, and walked away. I thought that the order wasn't complete, and that meant it wasn't mine. 2)They left it in long...

My spouse is a retired Veteran on Veteran's Day We encountered a very rude person. His name is Steven as we waited on our pizza we decided to scan the app to receive a free dessert. Not understanding exactly how the app works we tried to retrieve the free dessert from the rewards program with that we assumed this coupon was in the email! Steven which I believe is the manager was disrespectful and rude for no apparent reason.. other than race..any other person that approached the counter he was fine! It's very discerning to experience this type of service, especially when my spouse has fought for this country for 20 years and on the one day of the year that is allowed for them to be appreciated, you're disrespected!! Steven seriously, is in need of more customer service training , especially since the customers typically are the huge suppliers for the company be aware and mindful that being courteous and being polite actually, goes a very long way! Through out my pregnancy I have seriously craved MOD pizza. I swear I stop by at least once a week if not twice. I love their flat crust customizable pizza, milkshakes, and cinnamon bread. I always leave satisfied when I come in. My only issues have occured when ordering through doordash. For example, last night we ordered through doordash, after placing order I called in and asked them to send me a cinnamon glaze sauce (since I ordered earlier that wk and did not get it so my cinnamon bread was still sitting in my fridge). I spoke to two ladies who confirmed they would send. Doordash came and no glaze, I was super frustrated and called in again. I spoke to the Manager Luis and he was amazing! He was very sympathetic to my situation, apologized for the error, smoothed things over and next thing I know doordash is back with my dipping sauce AND fresh cinnamon bread!
