Stopped in for dinner tonight just in time to catch a wait. We arrived around 5:30 and had to wait about 10 minutes for a party of 2. However, service was quick once we were seated. We ordered a cup of queso to share, but really don’t need it there because the salsa is so good and fresh, a but spicy, but the white queso is good too!! I ordered Angie’s enchiladas for my entree and my husband had the numero 3. Angie’s enchiladas is 3 cheese enchiladas with poblano sauce, green peppers, onions, and sausage on top of spanish rice. The numero 3 comes with a chicken flauta, sour cream enchilada, and beef enchilada. My partner couldn’t finish it it was so much food! The flan was chilled perfectly, not too sweet, and perfectly textured - delightful even on a full stomach! Service was friendly.

We had an incredible experience dining here with our large group! From start to finish, everything was spot-on. I ordered the steak fajitas, a mojito, and shared the sopapillas…each one was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat, especially with the 90s hits playing in the background. Our server, Danny, deserves a special shoutout. Despite our group being large and very hungry, he didn’t miss a beat. Friendly, attentive, and completely on top of everything—he made the entire experience even better. The only suggestion I’d offer is to consider using larger containers for the individual salsa bowls. The ones provided were quite small and didn’t accommodate the chips very well. Overall, we loved everything about this place and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

We tried the other location but like this one better. The staff is good and the food and drinks here are great. Lasagna, pasta and fried rice at a Mexican place? We were skeptical but it was good. If you can’t decide between Mexican and Italian then this place is perfect for you. Something for everyone and the food has a kick to it. If you don’t like spicy, let them know. We also ordered the shrimp Diablo (which wasn’t spicy). I would think this one would bring the heat but the kids at our table ate it. It was good but just not spicy. We also ordered some basic breakfast stuff - eggs, pancakes, etc. Drinks were good also. We had Micheladas, Mexican Candy Shots, and Mexican Martini.

ok so, my family and i went to a church wedding next door to this place this past saturday (we're from Austin) and we had a huge gap of time until the reception so we were looking for lunch places. this place had great reviews and since it was next door we basically said F it- lets go. the family (there was 17 of us including 6 kids!) parked while i ran in to get a table. very first impression was soo sweet- one of the employees (i think he was a busser) opened the door for me to get to the host stand, i was in heels so he offered his hand out for me to step! the host themselves (there was 2) were sooo nice and funny. we had a great conversation and right after he said, "okay let me go get the table ready" (the place wasnt dead either, it was pretty full!) i was so shook- there was noooo wait at 2pm on a saturday.. for 17 freaking people. with that being said, i missed counted us and said 12 but once the fam walked up to the table and noticed we wouldnt all fit, the host came back with NO attitude and fixed the table for us! we all got seated then the waitress came and she was SO nice and also had great conversations with us, i felt like she was our aunt lol at this point i felt the place was too good to be true so was doubting the food would taste good. chips and salsa came out- BOMB lol $3 margs- SOOO good and instant buzz off of 2 lol so we all ordered and the food was veryyy quick to come out and... IT WAS SOOOO YUMMY. we are a hispanic family so we are really picky on our mexican food (especially the rice) and yall- it was for real so good. everyone finished their plates, even the 6 kids. and the place itself was really cute too. overall, 10/10 recommend- even being out of towners ;) if we ever end up back in dallas we will 1000% be going back to...

Frankie's Casa has always had pretty good food for fairly decent prices. What I am angry at, is a gift card issue. I came in mid July 2022 and paid 50.00 to be put on a card. I gave it to my brother who tried to use it the following December. When he tried to use it, the card had no money put on it. When I called about it, they pretty much gave me a verbal shrug, and said they had no way to check what happened. They couldn't read when the money was removed, or whether the card could be read to show if it ever had money. My belief, is that I was charged, but no money was placed on the card by the person doing it, knowing there would be no way to prove it. That is bad enough, but the checking service on those cards are a scam. When I read the back of the card, I found a QR code to be scanned to take me to an app that could check the card. I scanned, created an account, and then was asked to verify with a credit card. I was leery about doing that, but since Frankie's is a legit business, I figured it was ok. Almost immediately my card was charged with several charges and had to be blocked. When I mentioned this to them, I got another verbal shrug with the statement; "We don't have anything to do with that". Yes you do! It's on a card you distribute through your company! You absolutely have something to do with that! The only reason I gave 2 stars, is because of the pretty good food and fairly decent prices. But, I would advise against ever buying a card. Even if you keep the receipt, they can just claim the card was used, and there is nothing that can be...

We decided to try this location out since we enjoyed Frankie's off 78 in Sachse. We have also been to the one in Richardson off Custer and the location in Plano owed by his brother. Unfortunately this visit didn't go great. I ordered the Number 3 and added a hard shell taco. The taco meat tasted bad. Like burned bad. It lacked seasoning and just had this disgusting flavor too it. The taquito included with my platter lacked flavor, again like the meat was not seasoned. The enchiladas were fine, rice and beans were fine. Tea was not strong, a bit watered down.

My wife ordered the Mexican Lasagna and said it tasted fine. She ordered a cucumber margarita and although this is one of her favorite drinks at Frankie's off 78, it was horrible here. She said it tasted like it had bourbon in it, like it wasn't made right. They took it off the bill which was appreciated but not expected.

Overall we really wanted to like the place. The food was just meh for us and of course the drink being bad along with my taco being bad, just didn't set well.

I am not sure if it was the food but the both of us had stomach issues the next day after eating here.

We won't be back to this location. Just wasn't what we thought it would be. Overall a 2.5 star rating from me. Would have been 3 had both of us not gotten a bit...
