I just called and spoke to the manager in the Wyoming store. I wanted the owners to return my call. They have the right to know about my experience.
I am starting a blog about dinning out as a single woman in America and writing about my experience with this person's eatery is my first in this new series. What a doozy!!!
Normally, I write about the good and the bad. But if it is real bad, I try and let the owners know. This one was REAL bad
I told the manager about the hour long wait the first time. Then I got the Lasagna and it was hot on the outside and cold (as in it was refrigerated) on the inside. I told him I tried again 3 days later as a take out and they forgot my salad. I explained I went to get the salad the next day, called it in and waited in the parking spot for 20 minutes. I went in and they didn't have my order. So I had to wait again.
When I got home I began to eat the salad and then...omg a staple. An open staple on my salad. Had I swallowed it, it could have done major damage to.my body. So, I called to talk with the owners.
The manager told me I had to talk to him first. So I told him what happened, including that I was reporting everything on my new blog. I told him everything was an inconvenience but now it had turned to they could have hurt my body with that staple. Until I talk to the owners, I give them a ZERO rating.
He asked me for the name of the Blog then told me not to expect a call from the owner and hung up the phone on me.
I highly suggest you NOT TAKE THE CHANCE to eat here until after their restaurant has been the subject of investigation by the health board. I will be contacting them in the morning. Sadly, this could be stopped had the owners been notified. Unless, I was on speaker phone and the manager was seated next to the owner. Which is what I suspect just happened.
I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone, much less a single woman eating alone. They screwed up twice and the third time, they could have hurt me had I swallowed that open staple.
Shame on them. Shame on the owner if you were sitting there listening in and showing no humbleness or care that your restaurant could have caused my body some major damage.
They get a ZERO chick...

We visited this time with friends and started off with a few drinks: I ordered a Rosey-Gin (Empress Gin, St~Germaine, Champagne, Sour Mix) - it was Suuuuper strong. The flavors were good, although not enough for me to finish it 😝. To avoid Grand Rapids tap water, we got a bottle of S. Pellegrino 😎. I don’t remember what the other 2 drinks pictured are… I’m writing this review very late 🤦🏼♀️. The last drink pictured, however is a whisky coke (with a lime).
For the appetizer, we got the ARANCINI (Homemade risotto balls stuffed with fresh mozzarella then lightly breaded and fried till golden brown.) I get these almost every time I come here because they are so tasty! Served on top of homemade roasted red pepper aioli and garnished with a light lime dressing.
For mains, we ordered the Pizza (with banana peppers, basil and feta cheese)- which I thought was very delicious but the crust was super tough. I might not think this way if I didn’t have braces, but I do 😝 so please take this comment with a grain of salt.
Two of us ordered the BLACKENED SHRIMP CAVATAPPI (Blackened shrimp, sautéed wild mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, spinach & cavatappi pasta tossed in a creamy garlic sauce.) Both said they enjoyed it. I don’t remember what the 4th entree was but it appears to be either a panino or a sub…I just remembered my friend liking it. We were all full after our entrees, so no dessert this time!
Overall, this is a good place to grab drinks and a bite to eat with friends. You can tell from the videos that it’s a bit noisy, which is good for...

The location is nice. A small shopping center is right nearby and its not far from Rivertown. M-6 is super close, so easy access.
The service staff here are always friendly, polite and attentive. Food portions are average. Food quality is decent. Average sized menu. Above average drink menu, with plenty of choices to appease everyone in your party for sure.
There are a few areas that you can ask to be seated: Normal dining room and a more of a bar area. We have always picked the dining room. It's very dimly lit, and we like that type of cozy setting. I cannot speak for the bar area.
Why not 5 stars? Well, my burger was a bit dry but that is probably on me since I ask for no pink. I wish I was offered ketchup/mustard/A1/etc. I'm sure I could have asked. Also, the dining room was pretty empty (3:00pm) except for another couple. They seated another customer right next to us despite all the room. I get that it happens to make it easier on seating charts and/or the server, but still, spacing things out would have been nice. Not a deal breaker.
Its always a good time here, and we never hesitate to stop in for the food,...
