Ay Caramba Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Yakima

We used to absolutely love this place and it was one of our go to places for good food. The last 2 times tho in the past month have been horrible tho. There is a newer female waitress who will never ever check on you. Will walk by empty baskets of chips and salsa over and over and has even looked around the corner at us to a plate we had set aside and not touched and was waiting to be addressed and just ignored us. Both my husband and myself can’t do dairy and our last time there cheese was put on our food. It was dropped off and never checked on so my husband and myself just split the one plate we could eat. Same with the time before their spinach burrito used to be amazingggg!! But last time we were in before that the burrito was completely stuffed with rice and barely any spinach at all. Same horrible service from the lady. We had hoped the one time was just a off day but 2 times now in a row with our food being made wrong and her horrible service we ll start taking our business elsewhere. I cannot help but to rave about Ay Caramba! The waiter was most obliging with requests (I enjoy salsa mas picosa much more than the typical offering, Tacos with carnitas was not an option on the menu yet this request did not create any problem nor resulted in any extra expense) and was pleasant while performing his job. The serving size(s) were most welcomed and the cherry on top was the reasonably priced check. I recommend ALL whom enjoy dining at a Mexican restaurant to pay them a visit (pun intended) for the food, service and reasonable prices. Special requests shouldn't be a problem since I did not incur one at any time UPDATE I literally just left this establishment and I was EXTREMELY disappointed, to say the least! I will not go into great detail since I have every intention of dining at this very restaurant in the near future. The cheese nachos I ordered came with chips that were soggy. And the overall flavor was like drinking a bottle of fish oil combined with greasy cheese. The tostada I ordered with shredded beef had no inkling of ANY meat. The guacamole was brown. When I called to complain, the manager blamed it on door dash, although door dash delivered in a very speedy and timely manner. Then the manger told me I should’ve called immediately to log my complaint. She also told me I should contact door dash for a refund, although it was an issue with the food,, and not an issue with the delivery.
