Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Yakima

I just left this restaurant a few minutes ago with one of the rudest and poorest experiences I have ever dealt with. I ordered my $30 pizza online. I arrived 5 minutes after it was supposed to be prepared. The cashier went back to check on it and came back to tell me it hasn’t been started yet. This is the second time that’s this has happened to me not including previous orders incorrectly being delivered or being told half hour before closing that the dining room is closed. While people were still there eating. 1 out of my many orders has been correct and delivered before they said it would. I told the manager that this is the second time this has happened to me and and he proceeded to talk over me when I was trying to tell her I’m not waiting and just refund me back. She was upset and continued to be confrontational. I was not going to put up with that so I kept telling her just to stop talking and just refund me. She obviously did not have the people skills to deal with upset customers and maybe why they had her in the back instead up front. Who knows but I can tell this was a consistent attitude and kept saying she was a human and that she makes mistakes! I don’t know why I can’t be upset about the consistency of bad service. For the cost of what Round Table pizza cost, service should be better far better. I personally and my company will never order from this Round Table Pizza in Yakima on 40th ave. Ever again. We went in and it smelled so good. Then someone behind the counter told us to choose a seat and no one waited on us. We went to the counter to see if that's where we were supposed to order. Still no one waited on us. The people behind the counter acted like they didn't even see us. I don't think I'm a ghost. I mean I know I'm pale but really? These employees seemed to be in their own world. I was HANGRY by the time we left here. The staff didn't even seem to care that we were angrily walking out the door. Was really craving pizza. New to town and thought I'd try them. Nope. On recommendation from someone else I drove to Selah and went to Magics Pizza Shack instead. Wait staff there was excellent. Salad bar was fresh. Pizza was good. Service at Magics was off the chain. Service at Round Table was non-existent. My husband and I go out to eat EVERY Friday after work. I don't even know if the food here is good but I can tell you this we will not be back. Service is KEY people...

This place has a variety of lunch specials which is how I got introduced to this place from a work lunch. The staff is very friendly and I've never had a bad experience here in the four times I've dined here.

I typically get special #1 with 2 topping pizza, unlimited salad bar, and soft drink but with tax it's around $15.99

If you're not too much of a salad person, then the pizza lunch special isn't too much in your favor since they're small personalized pizzas and if you don't eat salad you definitely won't get filled.
