Share my experience at Famous Burgers. Not sure I want to but here it is I do not recommend this place if you have a service dog!! My friend and I went in to have dinner cuz it was her first time there. And right away the owner demanded to see a"license" for my service dog. I told him several times that there is no license for service dogs. My friend told him that there wasn't. But he refused to listen he wanted me to show it to him. He wanted proof that my service dog was a service dog. He refused to listen to what I was telling him and that was that there were only two legal questions that he could ask me. And I tried to explain to him what federal law says. The more I try to talk to him and explain to him the more he refused to listen. My friend tried to talk to him and he refused to listen to her. He was someone that just wanted to do his way or no way. I finally pulled out a little card that I always care with me that says"i am a service dog". And guess what while I was pulling that out of my service dogs service jacket that has a patch on it that was visible to him saying that he is "service dog please don't pet me" he finally said oh he is a service dog. Really, that's what I've been trying to tell him for 10 minutes. And I told him as long as any dog comes in with a jacket a red jacket a blue jacket anything that has service dog patches on it he has to let them in. And he still did not want to listen to that. He says he had the right to decide who comes into his restaurant. Cuz all the restaurants decide. All I can say is wait till a service dog comes in that isn't wearing a jacket. Because we all know those of us that have service dogs. They are not required to wear a jacket. Too bad. He just needs to learn and listen and realize that he was in the wrong. And my friend was a sheriff for 25 years. And he wouldn't listen to her. And she knew she knows a service dog laws to. And he wouldn't listen to her. I wish you could have arrested him for stupidity. So anyway folks the choice is all yours. If you want to go to a business that disrespects and refuses to listen to the disabled and their service dogs. Then by all means go ahead. If you decide to go just let him know that what he did to her us and my service dog is wrong we would appreciate it thank you all. For their attitude, they get a 0 rating from us. They ruined our night. And what was really bad. Is that it been about 8 months since I've last been there but I always was sitting down at the table while my ex order food. And I told him that the look on his face was like .... well I won't say on here, but...
Read moreDecided to try this place out as I am looking for a place that appeared to have amazing looking Mongolian Beef. I may not have found this place, but the proportions appear to be about right. 3 portions per plate which is staggering. You could easily feed three with the order of Yakisoba I got. The burger I saw another guy get was fairly normal and looked pretty good. Flavor wise this food is good around a 4 out of 5. Quality seems pretty legit and home made.
I will be back here one day but not to often. I would like to see the portions dropped by half and price dropped down to maybe 70 percent at the highest. I see lunch price around $7 a plate maybe and not $14. I also gave this a 4 out of 5 as the manager handled a out of his place customer very well. Not this America entitled customer nonsense thinking we can do all we want and just get a sorry back. On top of this said customer pretty much started off with a racial comment and then began swearing in a minute. He was told to leave and with absolute bravery on the manager's part.
I say good job to your food establishment and to your customer care. Though do not dwell on it for 5 minutes afterwards with other customers. Take of it and let it go. Otherwise good job. Also list the prices on all of your menu items or at least...
Read moreI came out of town for work and recently wanted to get my guys out for dinner, got there a bit late at around 7:30, they were kind to allow us to dine in while the restaurant was closing. The owner gave us a bit of a history of the restaurant and how it's been for the few years. Then, when our orders came out, we were astonished by the portion size. For the price and amount of food we got was bigger than most restaurants that served teriyaki and rice. Yhank god it wasnt*was panda express style teriyaki sauce, cause this is better tasting. The veggie to meat portions were great to get both in a bite, and free refills for drinks? In a large cup? Sign me up. The quality of the food is superb, they do serve in to-go trays, but with good reasoning, because you ain't finishing that in one sitting.
Overall enjoyed my dine in there , food is outstanding, service felt like family getting us food, and I cannot ask for more. I'll telling my other coworkers about this place.
Teriyaki beef and chicken x3 Teriyaki beef x1 Each dish with drink came around $26-$27 on average after taxes
The photo is me just eating a quarter of the dish, 1/4!! There's still more to go.
