One More Time Around — Local services in Yakima

Took items into the consignment store One More Time Around. They are located at 419 west Yakima Ave. Yakima Wa. Haven't heard from them for months so, i called. Employee stated they had sold $150.00 worth of my items but they didn't have enough cash to reimburse me this minute. I said no problem they could send a check. Said she would have owner call me back. Owner did not call back. I called her. She said she doesn't have any money to pay me right now. I said ok then when? She said her business had more bills than she expected. I said ok you cannot take people's items sell them, make yourself money and not pay them for their items. Then she said, Do you want my business to shut down? I said your business is not my issue. I told her I expect a check to be mailed to me by 1 week and for her to collect my remaining items, Or we would contact the police. She stated what are they going to do? They can't do anything.Then hung up on me. We'll she what they do in a week then we will proceed accordingly. I have never heard a business owner treat a client like she did, make money from selling other peoples items and not pay them what they are owed. STEALING? who runs a business like this? Now I know why we were never contacted. Would never do business...

The place is really nice inside and the people that work there are nice. They have coffee there for your convenience.

The only suggestion I have is making sure you get an itemized receipt for whatever you drop off there. I dropped off brand new clothing along with some used clothing. All was looked at and seen as good to be taken to the back. The only contact I received many many months later was someone saying that they were donating all my stuff because it was all in bad condition which couldn't be the case. It was all accepted and looked at before it was taken to the back. There were items with tags still on them. Very nice items . They must have mixed up my stuff. I have been in contact with them four times before and after this phone call with no success. For my own sanity I've...

My go to place! I always find something, the turnover in this store is on 🔥 they work so hard! And the more people that shop, the better it gets so share with your friends!

They are the only reliable and reasonable consignment store I've found. Not only will they not just steal your stuff, but they're consignment rate is the best. Like 30% maybe even better. Crazy good.

Last but not least, they do alot of good for the community. Donating, fundraising, baby food, formula and diaper drives etc.
