Yesterday morning around 8am, my friend and her boyfriend were waiting for me to pick them up at this location. While they were waiting for me, they decided to order something to eat. She stayed outside and he went in to buy the food...after about 5 minutes, their food was ready and since I was still not there, they decided to eat outside so that they would see me when I got there...and that's when Sharron Walker (store manager) drove up to my friends and said "you people need to leave." My friends boyfriend asked her why they needed to leave because they were paying customers and Sharron told him that he could be there but she needed to go (referring to my friend). He then told sharron that the money was his girlfriends money, so she was actually the paying customer. I should have mentioned at the beginning that my friend chose to stay outside because she had jus woke up and hadn't had time to get dressed and was still in her pajamas. So Sharron Walker, store manager, saw my friends sitting outside of her work, for some reason, decided that she had the right to tell my friend and her boyfriend, who were paying customers, that they had to leave the establishment immediately. She accused them of sleeping on the property, which they did not do. And then she made my friends feel extremely uncomfortable by watching them until they finished their food and left. My friends didn't even want to wait for me to get there because of how rude this lady was to them. I will never again spend my money at this location! Sharron Walker had no reason to treat my friends the way she did! Even if they had been sleeping on the property, that's still no reason to treat someone the way she treated my friends!! I will be contacting the people who own this location and letting them also know of what happened between Sharron Walker and my friends. If this is how McDonald's feels their customers should be treated, then I want no part of it and I will take my...
Read morePulled up here to pick up a door dash order after 1AM. The pickup instructions say “please park in designated delivery stall and call store to let them know you’re here and someone will bring your order out”. So, I pull in the parking lot and there’s 4 cars pulling in behind me. I follow the directions. That’s where I messed up. All 4 cars go into the drive thru as I park in the stall. I call and it rings and rings and rings. No answer. So I have to get in line BEHIND the 4 cars that were BEHIND ME while pulling in. Tons of extra wait time. Your Door Dash customers are REAL PAYING CUSTOMERS TOO. Why as a DD driver am I relegated to a 30+ minute wait time almost every time I pull up here so I don’t mess up your “drive thru timer”? You game the system by having us get out of the way and serving EVERY. OTHER. CUSTOMER. before us. A decent amount of business comes through Dash deliveries and it would be nice if the drivers (making the absolute least out of this deal) were treated a little better at McDonalds. This is actually exclusive to the McDonalds in Yakima, not as a whole. I don’t know if this comes from the store level management, a DM or the Franchisees themselves. It this is awful. I managed a national-level fast food restaurant for 6 years and this is appalling. I would’ve gotten rid of whoever allowed this type of behavior and made sure that business was running smoothly. I strongly recommend you all have a chat with your team and take it back to square one and teach them how to treat EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER. This is definitely not the quality that most McDonalds strive to attain. ALSO, PLEASE UPDATE YOUR PICKUP INSTRUCTIONS. Clearly your only focus here is time=money, maybe pass that along. Good thing I’ve had literally 33 minutes since I got here to pickup these FRENCH FRIES and still am 2 cars away to write this...
Read moreWhat can I say about any location of McDonalds in town that hasn't been said already. They're all incredibly hit or miss when it comes to food quality, service, etc.
Ordered a Triple Cheeseburger meal, Happy Meal, 4 Blueberry pies.
Well the Triple Cheeseburger wasn't a triple at all. Ended up being given a Double Cheeseburger instead. The fries in both my box and the Happy Meal were hard. Actual bottom of the barrel, last scoop of the fryer level fries. I could push on either side of the fry and not break it unless you put some real pressure on it.
For some reason over the last few years McDonalds in Yakima has always had the most mid fries imaginable. Doesn't matter if you go right after the breakfast switch, during peak times. Typically soggy, hard or just tasteless like they hadn't put any salt on them period. Anyway I digress.
I received 2 pies instead of 4. Double checked the "Take Out" ticket to see if maybe the mobile app didn't register me grabbing 2 orders or something but it verified my entire order was correct.
I don't live to far from this location so I went back and got it corrected (The right way, don't go in there yelling at people being Karens and all that noise.)
Overall my experience at this location and the various others are like I mentioned previously, very hit or miss. I think the Franchise owners just stopped caring about their locations in Yakima, usually the employees are dope people but it's up to the Franchise owner to make sure things are running proper, which sadly it hasn't been the case for...
