McDonald's — Restaurant in Yakima

We normally have a great experience at the river road location and it has always been our preferred location because it has been kid friendly. Today had to be the absolute WORSE experience I could have ever had in any establishment. My son was yelled at by a grown man and told “be quiet boy!” in the children’s play area. The last time I can recall that is an area where children are allowed to play and be loud. If your not willing to be around children playing then you should not sit in this area. The man became hostile after I corrected his action. I left the situation and tried to speak with the manager and even waited patiently after being told she was doing “important paperwork” so after 10 min of waiting I decided to leave. Her excuse for not coming to help de-escalate the situation turned out to be a lie after I spoke to another employee. She decided her break was more important than her customers. So that is why she didn’t do her job and manage the situation. Most definitely will never be coming back and will let everyone know that the management here is horrible and the environment is even worse! I will most definitely be escalating the matter to higher management in hope’s that the manager can be better trained to better handle...

The problem I have with McDonald's is I order the same thing and it's made Differently about half of the time or more I won it the same the way that it tastes great instead of just thrown together like no one cares why why do they make it differently the best way to lose a customer is to make something 1 way A few times then the rest of the time Just throw it together like there is no pride in what they are doing I guess when everyone is making minimum wage except for the managers that's what happens, Sad but very true, McDonald's charge more for a 1dollar cheese burger, med fry, and a milk shake than it costs to eat at a very nice restaurant where they seat you, then give you hordes then salad main course and dessert. McDonald's is a gast food restaurant as you know but there prices are for a rich man it's sad that so many people don't realize it, let's get the word out because everyone should be able to eat healthy food instead of burgers, greasy food that is almost unrecognizable over salty, nothing healthy its almost...well it is helping so many people to become overweight and well, it just keep gets uglier, diabetes, heart disease cancer the list is endless! There I hope this gets at least some one to open her eyes before...

Could not get served inside. Dozens of employees, including a couple being served, were within a few yards. The new serve yourself kiosk was near...I did not try it. No hurry, so I waited, invisibly. Finally, one cashier asked if I have been served. When I responded that I had not and stepped forward, she switched to address another staff member, then another. All of a sudden, she had 4 staff around her at the cashier, all waiting and watching. I stood there looking around, recalling when there was a day when McD's goal was to serve you quickly. Those days long gone, unless you are in your vehicle. 7-8 minutes had passed total, when she asked what I wanted. I asked for a cup of coffee and paid for it in cash. Boom she was gone, not to get the coffee, (black - should have taken all of 5 seconds) but to help the staff at the drive up window. She whisked by me, not saying a word, to retrieve some soda from the dining room fountain. Finally, 2.5 minutes after I ordered, she handed me a coffee. Terrible service and sitting in the dining room 2 staff were desperately looking to match orders and people, with little success. Ray Kroc is rolling...
