Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Yakima

Papa Murphy's used to be way cheaper than any other pizza joint. That's not the case anymore, as I found out the other night! I stopped in for a steak and garlic thin crust pizza.... $15 for a large or $17 for a family size. If you haven't tried it, you have to - it's amazing...but amazing isn't free! There's always a coupon for your pizza, but it seems like I end up forgetting them about half the time. They have started to allow certain coupons via your phone, which is a big plus - but not all of the coupons are available on your phone. This particular location doesn't yet allow online ordering either. If you can remember your coupons, this is a great option for your take-and-bake pizza! I love the pizzia and most the staff... One of the managers is very rude though! On our last visit we ordered a cowboy pizza and a pepperoni when we got home we found out we got the wrong pizza. Not a big deal, but when my wife called the manager, She very rudely said "what do you want me to do about?". She also argued with my wife about it like my wife was lying. We had to drive down and show them they were wrong to get a replacement. I find this an unacceptable way to treat loyal customers. We will still buy from Papa Murphy's, but not from this store. I usually have a pretty decent experience at this Papa Murphy's. The pizza is usually up to par as is the customer service. My biggest complaint however is the fact that they ask for tips instead of paying their employees adequate wages. This is extremely unethical and completely illogical for this type of business. First off, tips are for service excellence. Not only is there no actual service other than them handing me the pizza and me paying them, but the pizza still needs to be cooked. Second, how do I even know my pizza is quality? If its terrible and they received a tip then I just gave them a tip that I can't get back for the one thing that they were actually providing me.
