Delicious, fresh, healthy. You can see and individually choose each ingredient they will put into your order, and they make it while you request each ingredient (like at Chipotle).
About $10 for a vegetarian burrito bowl (which seems a bit pricey for the vegetarian considering it's the same thing they charge for with meat of choice, but simply without the meat in it and no replacements for the meat unlike other food establishments, but that hasn't stopped me from making it an almost every other day purchase at times). Nevertheless it's a great option in the area for unprocessed, truly fresh, healthy vegetarian food that is fast, and which you don't have to make yourself and will certainly fill you up (maybe with leftovers).
Includes choice of beans, choice of rice, grilled peppers and onions, two types of lettuce, shredded cheese, fresh salsa, mango salsa, guacamole, cilantro, and cilantro avocado sauce all together in a huge bowl, which you can have lined with a freshly made tortilla of your choice before your ingredients are added to the bowl.
The only thing to make note of is one of the employees gets weird about you asking for both types of salsa and if you try to request both she will absolutely insist upon only giving you the mango salsa, whereas every other employee will let you order your food the way you want it even if that means with both types of salsa.
The drinks are great ...or at least have the potential to be. Other times they taste a bit funky (as in does not taste fresh). So maybe try their signature "Burrito" drink on a day that you can see the clear drink dispenser as pretty full, (which I figure means they probably recently made it as opposed to it having sat around for several days or more before it's used up, which probably is when they are prompted to make...
Read moreYummy! I'm originally from California and have been dying for a REAL burrito. It's been a difficult journey finding that one burrito that even comes CLOSE to the burritos I grew up on. This place? AMAZING. They are pretty dang close to the burritos I love and miss in the central valley of California. The carnitas were perfect, rice was amazing, honestly everything was just.. perfect. Why not exactly like the ones I grew up on? Well.. because it's hard to replace something you are familiar with in a completely different side of the country. But they come so dang close to it and it makes my little Californian heart happy. ♥
With that being said; they are indeed close in my opinion, I do feel like my burrito lacked a little of the salsa verde I asked for but that's okay! It was still very good and everything I wanted. I'm eager to try their tacos and more of their Mexican dishes. I do wish they made Tamales as that's a big Mexican dish as well. I think I would be in pure heaven if they did make them. I did not have anything spicy so I can't make a note on that.
I will surely be back here again very soon! Keep up the amazing work! Also, just a little COVID note- It was a completely contactless pick up in my opinion. My food was in a bag on a table away from the employees which made it really nice for me as I prefer it that way instead of something being handed to me directly. Thank you for doing that and thank you for working...
Read moreRead moregive me a break!I Stopped in on Friday night. I was ordering a bunch of different things for guests we had waiting at home. We have been here a few times before and mostly good things to report. We were working with the food guy to get a variety of food items. Then we got to the question about toppings on our tacos and burritos. Did we want guacamole? Hmmm, not sure what our guests would want??? The food preparer was willing to put it on as many tacos as we wanted included. I wasn't sure so I asked if the guacamole could be placed on the side. I was then showed a very small container that I was told would be 3 dollars each to be put on the side. I stopped and asked again. It's free if you put it on the tacos right now.correct (YES) ok, please put my free guacamole in a small container. NOthat will be 3 dollars each. WOW! stupid...we took our $50 worth of food and left.. WE will NOT be back. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE...
