Absolutely in love with this dress! I wore it for my sister's wedding. I was maid of honor. It matched perfectly with her theme, the bride loved it, I felt very pretty in it, and got a lot of nice compliments! My shopping experience was perfect. After going to so many stores I thought I would never find the one, until I came into this boutique. I wanted something unique but also simple (in terms of my standards). There were so many options, colors, styles, and sizes. The staff was super friendly even after I spent a lot of time in the store trying on different dresses and colors. They also were super helpful with finding me dresses that could potentially fit my sister's theme after I showed them pictures of the bridesmaids dresses and colors. The dress I picked originally is worn off the shoulders but I personally chose to wear the feathers up because it complimented my body features more and looked overall more flattering on me. The other way is super pretty as well. The dress came in fast which was so nice because the wedding was overseas so I had to meet a certain deadline. The sizing was perfect the only thing I altered was the length because I am on the shorter side but even so it wasn't a lot to cut. I was able to save the leftover fabric to make a bow tie for the best man to match. The changing room facilities were also pretty clean! I feel like when going to other places there can be glitter or beads all on the floor that usually end up getting my socks and shoes when trying on dresses. Overall, my experience shopping here was amazing and I would totally recommend...
Β Β Β Read moreThe young women assisting the customers are fabulous. Our experience with our stylist was five stars.
However, this was our first and our last time at Giana Rose. As someone who makes a strong effort to support small businesses, especially in the current climate of our economy, Giana Rose makes it really hard.
They sell damaged dresses behind a storewide 15% sale and will not budge on any other accommodations. When you voice your opinion, they will argue with you about how itβs the end of the season, and the $100 you save on the damaged dresses can then be used to fix it. Unreal. Also, bead-work on a dress costs more than a $100.
I am not a deal seeker and happily pay full price for items from no brand name to luxury brands. And if and when said items are damaged most business make good on the items. 100% mark up on wholesale is standard for retail, so there is wiggle room to accommodate the customer on damaged goods, while still making a profit.
Small business owners arenβt the only people who are doing their best in this economy, and want to provide their daughters with a dress they will never forget. I was not prepared to pay over $600 for a damaged dress that may or may not have enough beads to fix. I would have happily paid $450 for the dress that was most likely a sample dress. I think that would have been fair.
Customer service can make or break a business and the owners of Giana Rose need...
Β Β Β Read moreI brought my little sister here to shop for her senior prom dress and I have never been more disappointed with a shopping experience in my life. Our mom passed away before my sister was able to share in the joy of shopping for a prom dress together with her which had already made shopping for a dress hard enough. Determined to make the most out of our experience I brought my sister here in the hopes of finding a dress. Upon our arrival at the store we were immediately greeted as if we didnβt belong simply because she wasnβt accompanied βby an adult.β After we explained our situation, in order to continue shopping they made us provide proof of a payment option. After meeting their criteria they left us alone to shop in the store (unlike the treatment they were giving the rest of the clientele essentially waiting on them hand and foot.) Simply put, I felt like a PEASANT in their store. It not only was an awful shopping experience because they were so rude and unhelpful but it left us with a constant reminder that we werenβt able to share this experience with our mom. We ended up purchasing the dress elsewhere. Only sharing my story in hopes that nobody else will ever experience the same horrible...
