La La Lobster — Restaurant in Yardley

If lobster is one of your favorite meat, then La La Lobster is a MUST TRY especially if you lived in the Philly area and it's surrounding suburbs. La La Lobster is not too far from Sesame Place and the Oxford Valley Mall. If you frequent any of those places, then La La is not too far of a drive. There is plenty of parking so don't have to worry about that. La La also offers indoor and patio dinning, if you need to handle your "business", POOP DECK is available in the back of the restaurant. Let's get started with me and my family's meal today, we have order La La Lobster Fries with Lobsters added, Lobster roll with additional lobster meat, Lobster Mac, Lobster Grilled Cheese, Lobster Bisque, and Kids Mac. The lobster fries were ooo-so-licious, it was made with the thick crinkly fries top with queso cheese and peppers, the presentation will make u drool lol. La La have one of the best Bisque in the area, like seriously, Lobster Bisque weren't loaded with sodium and there were chunks of lobster meat in it yummy. Lobster Roll was to die for! I had mine with extra lobster, I kinda regret the extra meat bc my mouth wasn't big enough for it lol, it was really hard for me to bite into it lol. We didn't get extra lobster on the Lobster Mac and the Lobster Grilled Cheese today, but we will definitely get that next time. I'm not saying the portions are small but who can say no to extra lobster for $5? I know not me, but since this is our first time at La La's, a little skeptical about them so we didn't want to overspend. My daughter doesn't like lobster, I was really glad that La La offers Kids Grilled Cheese and Kids Mac for our finicky little eaters. Staffs were extremely nice and friendly. We are going...

I was excited to take my family to La La Lobster and try their much-talked-about dishes. While the restaurant had a friendly ambiance, I found the menu prices to be quite expensive, and unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to our expectations.

When we arrived, we ordered drinks and an appetizer to share, but unfortunately, our drinks arrived half-way through our meal, and the appetizer took forever until we asked for it to-go after we finished our meals. While the lobster grilled cheese and lobster roll were alright, the lobster was served lukewarm on warm/toasty bread, which was odd. The lobster bisque had only one small piece of lobster and was not hot enough, making it a rather unsatisfying soup.

Later, when we tried the lobster dip at home, it turned out to be quite plain and lacked any significant flavor or spices. It was even a more disappointing dish compared to the expectations we had from the other dishes, and we did have low expectations. I'll be honest it is probably one of the worst seafood items that I've ever had, if not the worst, and trust me I've had some awful sushi in my lifetime.

Despite these disappointments, I see potential in the restaurant and would be willing to give it another try in the future. And while the food didn't justify the high price tag, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and we appreciate their efforts.

Full disclosure, I don't care for lobster or seafood in general. With that said, La La Lobster is great. My friend got a standard lobster roll and we split the lobster fries (think your typical "loaded" fries with cheese and such). The fries are definitely where it's at. Perfectly cooked, battered fries. Super crispy and hot. Sprinkled with the right amount of Old Bay seasoning, finished off with a generous amount of lobster.

My friend was quite satisfied with her roll, thus I decided to get one to go for my mother, for later. She has a deep love lobster rolls. I'm happy to report that my mom was incredibly satisfied, which isn't an easy thing to do. They made sure the roll to go was prepared in such a way, that it's flavor, texture and structural integrity would not be compromised or spoiled.

With that said, I would like to add that the staff has an outstanding attention to detail when it comes to the food they serve and customer service. The young lady who helped us was an absolute delight. I cannot praise her or everyone else enough.
