Panna Gelateria And Bakery — Restaurant in Yardley

December 2023: Well one year later I am SO happy to say that Panna is going strong and BETTER THAN EVER! It is now a part of our daily breakfast (life is short!) Another customer told us Panna baked good freeze beautifully. So we make our weekly pilgrimage and stock up for the week (and then some.) The SCONES are SO wonderful. I love the Nutella scones which is weird because I am not a huge fan of Nutella. These taste like chocolate to me. They are crunchy with sugar and baked brown bits (read lower about my comments on "brown". They are buttery and crumbly and just beyond. He likes the fruits scones - same comments! We LOVE the Coffee Cake and still order the Almond Cake. Don't miss the tiramisu (not for breakfast of course; unless it's Christmas HA!) It it the best tiramisu I have ever had (or made myself!) It is rich and creamy with a little bite of espresso made mellow by the mascarpone and cream. Stunning! Today we stopped in for our weekly haul and found the most amazing, beautiful, chocolate machine from Italy that makes hot chocolate. I got an espresso-size cup and took a sip. All of a sudden it was 15 years ago and my husband and I were sitting in a little chocolate shop on Ile de la Cite in Paris drinking the most gorgeous hot choco I have ever had. I have been dreaming of it ever since. Until now....because Panna has it! I love this shop owned by Sally and Jemil. It is evident they love what they do - and are very skilled at what they do. If you haven't visited you must go now!

1 year ago: We have been to Panna several (OK....MANY!) times now, and the pastries are absolutely fabulous. This is an excellent baker who uses the highest-quality ingredients and knows how to bring them together into something magical. We were so taken with the almond pound cake that we now order a whole one at once and slice it off for breakfast, snacks, and when you need something sweet (but not too sweet) in the late afternoon. The peach galette in the summer? Easily the best of its kind I have ever had. With the Fall season, we have moved on to apple, and it is equally as wonderful. One important thing that I LOVE about Panna: they are not afraid to really brown their pastries. Brown equals flavor!!! And Panna knows how to get it just brown enough without going over the edge. This takes a skilled and confident baker - and Sally at Panna is that baker! We are SO glad to have this level of bakery here in Yardley. Thank you so much to Sally...

This place is no joke. Situated right in the heart of Yardley, in a shopping center with plenty of parking, is this quaint and beautiful shop. They're hot chocolate with marshmallow meringue went viral locally and I decided to stop in during the tree lighting to check it out for myself. I asked if they could do it on coffee rather than hot chocolate and after the barista asked me a bunch of questions about what I like, she suggested an affigato. So I had their homemade Pink peppermint gelato topped with an espresso shot with the marshmallow meringue on top. This was the most decadent treat I've had in ages!!! I also tried their hot chocolate while I was there. You have never had hot chocolate until you've had it from this Place. Oh my goodness the flavor is out of this world!!! They also bake on premises and had a good selection of gluten-free options. I noticed the tomato basil focaccia on my way out, and regret not seeing it sooner or it would have left with me. I did however try some decadent looking jam-based dessert and it did not disappoint. They're seating indoors if you want to sit and enjoy your treats, so no worries there. Is out of this world. Super friendly, super knowledgeable!! I met the owner while I was there and she was absolutely lovely. If you're looking for a sweet treat, a cup of coffee, we're the best Hot chocolate you've ever had... Get over there and check it out. I should have photos because we come here so often since moving to Yardley, but I don’t have photos somehow. We LOVE Panna. Everyone is so accommodating and sweet. We have a puppy we take with us most places and I’m so appreciative the cup of water the staff provide when I pick up gelato for our gal. Panna is so high quality and elevated in all the ways. Incredible flavors, interesting variety, accessibility to dietary needs and restrictions (they always have a vegan and DF option on hand and I think they have some GF products).
