We've been before and knew we would love it. We drive from Pigeon Forge just to eat here. It is a beautiful outdoor spot by a stream. The employees are brisk, but not rude. The food is fixed when you order. It taste delicious. We got there at 5 'til noon. We were waited on and served pretty quickly. Then those getting lunch showed up and it got super busy. People who were in line when we got out food were still waiting for theirs when we were done eating. It is how it goes at a small shop with fresh prepped food, so I'm not complaining, but it is good to know you might have a wait during the lunch rush. I did notice people picking up call in orders that seemed to go faster. We were a party of four and all of us stuffed down every bite despite being full halfway through. It was too good to throw away. We got burgers, fries, and onion rings. The orders were accurate even though we each got different burger toppings. The other customers were friendly as we sat at a picnic table by the stream eating. It was a beautiful drive to...

BJ's Diner- a road side burger stand with out door picnic table seating next to the river. It is about a quarter mile from the Cherokee Museum. The staff was awesome, the food was awesome. I ordered the cheeseburger and it was one of the best burgers I have had in ages.

My husband wasn't sure what to get, staff pointed out the specialty burgers. He got the Bubba Burger- he said it was delicious. My mom said that it [the Bubba Burger] was so big that he had too take 3 bites of burger to make it to the bun. The Bubba Burger is 100% Hungry Husband Approved. Two thumbs up, bring your appetite!

I spoke with Buddy & Bobbi Jo [owner/operators] and was told that the burgers are handmade with fresh Hamburger when you order. It is more work, but it makes a difference. Fresh flavor, great folks, would recommend! If you are unsure of their hours [Google has them wrong] give them a call! The number is in some of the photos. They do call in orders too! It can be waiting for you when...

We were excited to try this place out after hearing good things. We showed up at 145 PM (2 PM is when they "close") but weren't served . Employee didn't even say anything and ignored us. Another person waiting on food pointed at a close sign in the window (meanwhile they had their lighted open sign on). While we sat in the car figuring out our next move we saw at least 3 different groups of people get turned around (by that same customer mind you, not the employees who just pretended no one existed).

Not sure if they ran out of food or the employees just wanted to go home but either way they should have said something. I've been in food service management for over a decade and wouldn't expect this from a fast food chain, nevermind a "mom and pop" shop. Guess they make enough money to turn away multiple paying customers who get to the restaurant before close. Reading other reviews too it seems to be a reoccurring theme with this...

They advertise having the best burgers in town, so I had to try the “Bubba Burger” with all the toppings (except mustard) along with a side of onion rings. They burger was very good and messy, it required the hunch to tackle this double patty monster burger. The onion rings were crunchy and had great texture. The ketchup was sub par but the service was quick and accurate. Refills of soda were $.50 (fair) The dining accommodations were outdoor concrete tables, which were adequate for the great weather we had. Restroom accommodations were unisex and built in a wooden shed that had been converted into a restroom. I overheard other customers complaining about their order was inaccurate but did not verify that claim. 4/5 + food - accommodations
