READ entire review!!!!!Feeling very disappointed in the poor customer service of owner and management of this Establishment. Myself and family visited this restaurant on Saturday August the 4th for lunch we had a very Long wait at least 45 min or longer for coffee drinks and sandwiches. The drinks were not made correctly so because of the long wait decided to just get a refund for only the drinks but we did keep the 3 sandwiches and cake total of $44 dollars. We didn't have a problem with anyone! mistakes happens! so we left and was pleased with our lunch. Update we were not the only ones that was dissatisfied with their drinks and long wait. Looking over the long wait time the day before. We decided Sunday to return and have lunch again. Ordering food over the phone to help with wait time. We purchased 3 sandwiches 3 chicken salad bowls and no drinks this time total price of $35. While waiting for our food to be made owner walks in and approaches us. Saying "Aren't you the ladies that was in here on yesterday". We answered yes! She then responds you gave me a bad review on yesterday didn't you ? We didn't know what she was talking about and said no! She continue to say that yes it was us!! In front of employees and customers causing a scene and causing embarrassment to me, my sister and my mother. I responded by saying if I had given you a bad review I would not have a problem letting you know!!! also I would not be back at your establishment paying another $35 for sandwiches again!! I'm speaking out because we were not the only people that requested a refund on yesterday based on long wait times and poor made drinks. But we was the only African Americans!!! but because of my skin color you remembered that I was the person that requested a refund for only my drinks where the white guy requested a refund for his entire meal. In my opinion just poor quality customer service if I was in your position as a owner or management when I realized that I incorrectly accused you I would have apologized. but furthermore I'd never would have said a mumbling word being that you revisited my establishment giving me a second opportunity to make it good!!!!!!!!Having successful business is by word-of-mouth and by having people to revisit your establishment not by making them feel not wanted. By reading some of your reviews back to some of your unhappy customers you tell them to find another establishment. I totally agree with my sister. If you Dont want African Americans to visit your establishment. Place your "WHITE ONLY" sign on the front door...

Do not Go into this establishment!!! Please read entire message!! On August 5th I came into this restaurant I placed my order at 12:31pm . At 1:20 I received my frappe I ordered. The drink was not made properly and due to the wait I simply asked for a refund for the drinks and took my food to go . The food was good so this morning I decided to go back for lunch. So I placed my order over the phone . When I arrived to pick up my order I was confronted in a very poor manner by the Owner/Manager if I wrote a bad review from my experience yesterday. I said no .. she said “it had to be you because you were the only one who ordered the coffee drinks” . The sad part about this is there were so many unhappy customers in this place of business the day before because the wait was no less than 45mins however my family was the only BLACK Family. There was a White gentleman in front of me that waited over an hour and finally gave up and requested a refund. Please keep in mind I did not request a full refund . I only asked for the drinks to be returned because I did not have another 45 mins to wait for a coffe drink . There was absolutely no reason for this owner to speak to my family in the manner in which she did, especially since I returned the next day . My family was targeted because of the color of our skin . As I explained to her I did write a bad review she continued to tell me, my sister and mother why it had to be us. I then asked was the bad review on yelp she said no Facebook. Please keep in mind as she continued to tell me why it had to be me there were employees standing around and customers . This was so embarrassing as she insisted it was me . So I went to find review and found out it was the white gentleman that waited almost an hour . Message to the OWNER of this establishment :when you saw we returned you should have apologized for the long wait and for the mistakes made on my order .. but instead you called me liar and embarrassed my family . After reading some good reviews, we settled on this place for breakfast while staying just about 10-15 minutes away. We walked in, were the only customers in the building and I noticed that the menu has been downsized compared to what some pictures show. There's now only 3 options for breakfast. I'm sure this is due to Covid, as is everyone's excuse. So we ordered a meal each and a coffee. $35 with a tip! The ambiance of the place was nice, but again, we were the only ones in there. The decor was really cute. The lady brought our coffees, and I'm no coffee connoisseur but it wasn't really anything fancy to me. So we waited for only a couple minutes and she brought our breakfasts to the table and I was just completely underwhelmed. I got the bacon spinach melt, and honestly thought it was going to be an omelet but it was a toaster baked sandwich lying on about 5 pieces of spinach. My fiancé got I think banana French bread and it literally looked like they took some Eggo brand French bread sticks and warmed them up, sliced bananas for the top, put on a fancy plate with a side of syrup. We were both just largely underwhelmed with the quality of food vs price as well as the rave reviews I had seen prior. I came home and did a little digging through the reviews and saw that plenty of others had shared my experiences as well.
