Day 1 and 2 REALLY NICE !!! Better than shown online by day 7... some minor things.. Great for a weekend stay, but If your going to stay for a full week...
I loved the location and the staff, ALL of them from the front desk to the very friendly cleaning crew ! I loved the quiet and the room was VERY comfortable and roomy and clean !
I DID NOT like that the bathroom door opened inward into the small bathroom and would close you in if you fell getting out of the tub, your damaged body laying on the floor in the event of a fall and paramedics could not get in the bathroom to help you, VERY unsafe and in the way. I did not like that the bathroom door was so tight to the floor that you could not leave a towel on the slick tile floor to help keep you from slipping on the floor when getting out of the shower AND there was nothing really to grab ahold of for safety. Same with the jacuzzi tub, very difficult to get out of safely. needs some grab bars.
I DID NOT like that the back door did not have a screen so you could enjoy the fresh mountain air, without letting bugs in... AND it was not s sliding door, so to enjoy the patio, you had to close the door to the room because it took up half of the small patio.
It advertised a room for $79-$84 bucks a night on Google maps, but for some reason my 1 king size bed for 1 adult cost me $179+ taxes and fees total close to $200 per night, that must have been 1 expensive Jacuzzi... I would consider staying here again next year, but I will probably look around first, and definitely ask for more specifics on the price.
I did not like that they only had eggs available for breakfast on SAT and SUN, but they did have sausage and waffles, no eggs mon-fri ...
All in all , very nice stay, great and very friendly welcoming staff. At a price of 200 for weekends, and 140 for weekdays... should have eggs, and a sliding glass porch door with a screen.
Also, the wifi for the room was good, but a little complicated, mostly because it logs you out EVERY day. My iPhone and iPad finally quit using it altogether. I wish the room had an...
Read moreThe front desk and housekeeping were the worst I have ever experienced in all of my travels. We had called the hotel 2 times the day of our arrival to let them know that we would be a late night arrival and not to let our room go. When we arrived the front desk clerk that checked us in, was rude and not friendly at all. Evidently, he was to give us a placard to place on the door to let housekeeping know we wanted our room cleaned. (First for us to have this type of request of a guest.) He did not. After returning from our outing the second night it was a surprise not to have our room cleaned and fresh towels. Okay, maybe we were overlooked the first time. I went to front desk. Same person who us in was there. He assured me that he would tell housekeeping and gave me fresh towels. He had that opportunity to give us the placard for housekeeping. He did not. Then again, third night returning from an outing, room was not cleaned again. Not happy. Went to the front desk again, taking all the dirty towels for exchange of clean. After explaining again that our room had not been serviced again, OR since arriving, I am told that the other clerk should have given us a placard for cleaning room. I asked for a discount on our room for the poor service. I was told she would put a note in and the manager would have to take care of that. Next morning at check out the manager says she cannot give a discount because we prepaid. You would think that if we prepaid we would have gotten a better room and better treatment. Nope not the case. I chose this hotel because of the cleanliness rating.||In addition their breakfast was subpar as well. Same thing served everyday; flat round precooked eggs,...
