Grumpy's Donuts & Bagels — Restaurant in Yorba Linda

Grumpy’s Donuts & Bagels of Yorba Linda, I’ve seen this place, I’ve read about online, and finally today I went in. I enjoy donuts, especially the double chocolate. I also do a Tour de Donut Shop, out seeking the enjoyment of coffee, tea, pastries, donuts & more . . . . Now, while we imbibe of such sumptuous vices, I realize that only the individual will determine what is best for their own palate. Grumpy’s Donuts today were thick, moist on the inside and the taste of chocolate is one of the best I’ve found. There is a #1, but that will not be mentioned here. Sadly, I didn’t take the time for coffee, I’m in the process of switching to tea. BTW – Grumpy’s sells tamales, Fri/Sat/Sun Only. They were sole out today. My recommendation is preorder. Good donut shop with various treats. Nice range of donuts and other options. We all have our faves; choc sprinkled, buttermilk glazed, blueberry cake...mmm. We did try the muffins and the blueberry is very dough like, maybe underbaked, so pass on that. We found the banana nut muffin to be baked better, interesting texture witha chewy sweet muffin top. I had just finished a round trip bike ride to Huntington Beach and was desperate for some carbs and sugar. Decided to go here as it was the closest and was pleasantly surprised.
