Sai Sushi寿司 — Restaurant in Yorba Linda

On entering the restaurant we were not greeted very readily. This should have been my first clue to how the meal would go. When we finally got someone's attention they told us we could sit wherever we wanted to so we took the only table that could seat four that was left. It took a little while for the waitress to come get our order but it was busy so that made sense. However while taking our order she got distracted by some locals and left us mid order to go say hi. She didn't come back. I finally had to flag someone down to finish our order. During our visit the couple who was well known there got preferential treatment and were in and out before our table even got all of our food, some of which didn't even come out but was on the ticket anyway. I also had to flag down someone after about fifteen minutes after having been done and sitting there. The only reason I'm not giving this one star is that the food was ok, nothing special but not bad.

The upshot of this is, if you're a local and have been going here then keep on going but if you're visiting then I'd suggest finding somewhere...

I tried Sai Sushi after reading reviews about it. Definitely a full 5 stars. I stop every week for a take-out sushi combo on the way home from work. I brought my son who loves sushi, and he thanked me for taking him to the best sushi he's ever had. The entire staff is very friendly welcoming customers back home, and that is the atmosphere here. Food is well prepared, the fish always the freshest and best cuts. Portions are good sized without being oversized, nor too small as I have experienced elsewhere. Sai IS a Master Chef, and an artist, and his other sushi chefs are also very good. Everything is made with care, not rushed out. I can't think of anything they could do to improve, other than expanding into the next shop over. But service is...

#Fresh, mouth watering, variety of all the different #ingredients and #sauces used were exquisite. We came here tonight for date night, we are both #sushi lovers and always like trying new places. I ordered the cucumber #salad while my boyfriend got the #shrimp tempura. As for our sushi rolls, we got the 🌈 #Rainbow roll, #Dragon 🐉 Drago roll, #salmon skin roll, chuck Norris Roll, FF roll and avocado 🥑 cucumber 🥒 roll.. it was delicious. Our waitress was super friendly and other staff welcoming. This place gets packed, many regulars too. If you love ❤️ sushi 🍣 I definitely recommend...
