So my heart broke a little bit when I was informed that this is the place that used to be in the Delco plaza near my house and I used to really like it. Unfortunately it's moved, but that being said just because it moved and it means I have to go further to get to it doesn't mean that it's a terrible place. If anything, it's one of the best pasta places I've ever been to. Me and my wife went there today for lunch. I actually think it got better since it moved to its new location and is changing its name from pesto to the above name. The owner was so engaging and energetic and cared about our dining experience as well as what we had on our pasta. He wanted to make sure that my wife's noodles were cooked the way she wanted them. He wanted to make sure that my pasta was done the way I wanted it. That kind of customer service is severely lacking in today's world, so to see it at a place that I enjoyed and continue to enjoy is a welcome. Treat. The fact that you can go in here and get your own self-serving of pasta in a matter of several minutes and it's actually good and it's filling makes this new brand of fast food, a delightful treat and addition to the York county area. I hope that several others. Phil, read this review and make their way to pasta nito for a fun and energetic owner. A quiet and enjoyable dining atmosphere and a delicious and quick served pasta made. However, you like it with your choices of vegetable protein and sauce at no additional cost. Thank you for giving me a delicious lunch and thank you for sticking with...
Read moreMy daughter and I love Presto but last night's experience will probably be our last. My daughter has a mushroom allergy and I always let them know before ordering. Due to her allergies My daughter always orders the same thing. So the first thing that was a problem was garlic I was told we do not have any garlic. Ok that's OK. Then I ask for the basil pesto sauce. 3 times the young man says we do not carry that sauce. I said why is up on your board under sauces. Then he is like where? Tell me. So I said it is the 2nd thing down on the right hand side of your board under sauces. He said well we do not have it pick another sauce so she texts me creamy pesto. Ok. At this point I do not trust him with her mushroom allergy. So I watch him like a hawk. Well I see him open the glass case. Well towards the back of the case I see garlic and at the front of the case I see the basil pesto. Ok whatever I still tip because it's a post covid world and I always give 20%. To our horror I get home with the fettuccine and spaghetti and it is way undercooked. It was actually chewy. Unfortunately this was probably the last time...
Read moreMy first visit will certainly not be my last! Being someone like myself who does not like Olive Garden, I was slightly nervous going in here, but I love pasta, so I had to give it a try. First of all, walking in, it smells incredible. You get hit with an aroma like you are walking into a small old world spaghetti shop somewhere in Italy. I was greeted immediately by 2 very kind, and very polite ladies who were very informative, and introduced themselves which to me, is a lost art. The menu, at first, appears small, but when you realize the sheer amount of different combinations you can create, the flavor combinations, are endless! Everything was fresh, hot, cooked perfectly, and absolutely delicious!! The prices are about equal to any fast food place, but when I say this was a far better experience and taste than the norm, I’m not kidding! If you love pasta, please do yourself a favor and give this a try!! You will be pleasantly surprised!! I will be returning, and making this a regular...
