Starbucks — Restaurant in York Township

This is the best Starbucks location in York in my opinion. For awhile, the parking lot was a little hectic, because of the drive thru, small parking lot, and the fact that patrons are bozos who don't know how to drive...but how is that Starbucks's fault? Trick question...it's not their fault.

Anyway....I think since the other Starbucks down Queen has a drive thru now, this location is a little less hectic.

The staff is the best here...they are so friendly. I have been coming to this location for years and while there is turnover for sure, I still recognise so many faces, and they remember you too.

My normal routine is dash in and out in a rush to maybe get to work on time, but I also meet my friend here a few times a month to talk trash and drink a lot of caffeine. The lobby and tables are always clean. I appreciate how spacious it is, because I really dont want Linda and Joan to be eavesdropping on my convo.

Drinks and food are always good. In the rare instance that it is messed up or forgot something, they remedy it so fast, and they're friendly about it. (one time at a starbs at the BWI airport, the dude made me the completely wrong drink and when I politely asked him about it, he slammed it in the sink and ran off screaming...so...that was cool).

Anyway, yeah, this location...

I'm glad they made a second lane so more cars can get into drive thru and no one has to block traffic. I go here every week and each time I go nobody is using the second lane...why are people so scared to use it? How rude it is when you can't get in because people in front of you who clearly can see others need in and won't move into the other lane. There would be plenty of room if they just went into that other lane they made. I go in that lane if its real busy and have no issues mostly. Unless you have the rude people who are so scared to let you in front of them. The police have a sign up saying no one is to block traffic. I just don't get it! Also yes it might take a few more minutes in line but why wouldn't it when its drive thru only and not another starbucks drive thru near by. To complain about the line during this time is absurd! Look we are all going thru this together...so let's work together! So please start using that other lane so others can get in behind you. Stay...

Really a shame, the guy working the window was very nice. I ordered my usual drink, a venti white mocha Frappuccino with 6 shot of expresso. I always ask for the remainder in an extra cup, even offer to pay for it, (even tho I already paid for the 6 shots that made it have so much extra to begin with) and usually receive it with no extra charge. This trip to Starbucks was not that, they informed me they were not allowed to give me the extra even if I paid for the entire second Venti cup it usually fills. I'm sorry, I am paying an arm and a leg for my coffee, even offering more money to just get the whole order and they refuse. I'm not going to return to this Starbucks when the others will gladly give me my entire order,(what i paid for) most for no...
